Okay, here we go. I just purchased the first season of Grey's Anatomy myself and will be getting the second season soon. Otherwise, rely on the internet summaries and clips to catch yourselves up to what is going on in the lives of the interns and doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital. ~*~*~*~*~ Izzie paced outside the gate terminal, much to the annoyance of her intern friends. Alex had turned his attention away from her pacing, Cristina and Meredith were chatting quietly about their boyfriends, and George napped. Izzie's cousin, Caelyn Stevens, and her friend and collegue, Joanna Dorian, were arriving in Seattle soon. They had transfered from working at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN to Seattle Grace Hospital. Caelyn was a radiologist and Joanna was a doctor of internal medicine.
"How much older or younger is this cousin of yours?" Alex asked, watching an old married couple pass by.
"She is a few months older than me. Her friend, Jo, is older than her by a few days." Izzie jumped up and down when she noticed passengers leaving the gate. "They're here!"
The other interns turned around in their seats and waited for Izzie to introduce her cousin. She had talked about her cousin a lot over the past few weeks so they were excited to meet Caelyn.
"There she is!" squealed Izzie, rushing over to greet the two women walking towards them.
One of them, the taller one, had extremely long black hair that fell to around her knees and had the most striking green eyes they had ever seen. Her green eyes looked more like churned ocean water than anything. The other woman was slightly shorter than her friend and the interns guessed that this was Izzie's cousin. She had short vibrant red hair and the most intriguing eye color: silver.
"Hey Iz!" replied Caelyn, dropping some of her bags to hug her cousin. "How's it going?" The interns noted that she had a Minnesotan accent.
"Very good! I am so glad you decided to transfer!" Izzie then hugged Joanna, who looked greatly annoyed at the contact. "How are you, Jo?"
"Fine, thank you very much," growled Jo. She too had a Minnesotan accent, but her voice was icy and cold.
"These people with me are my fellow interns. Alex Karev, Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, and George O'Malley." Izzie smiled at her friends. "And, as you know, this is my cousin Caelyn and her friend Joanna."
"Call us Lynn and Jo, please," said Caelyn with a smile.
The two picked up their luggage and followed the interns out of the airport. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn and Joanna settled in to their apartments, which were next-door to each other. The apartments they lived in were close to the hospital so they wouldn't have to worry about transportation to work.
"Seattle seems nice," said Caelyn as she and her friend stood on a balcony overlooking the town.
"Yes," replied Joanna, some of her icy tone had melted away. "I guess I could get used to it."
"That's my girl." Caelyn smiled. "Tomorrow we start work. I cannot wait." ~*~*~*~ there we go... something to start off the RPG. Remember, the pairings so far are:
Meredith/Derek Cristina/Preston Burke Alex/Izzie George/Callie Torres
An upcoming relationship: Caelyn/Mark Sloan
Also, remember that this takes place a little after season two. We may have some spoilers from season three, but that will be about it.

Caelyn was up and ready by the time Joanna had come over for breakfast. She was all dressed up and professional-looking with her favorite dark green sweater that had a white collar and cuffs and a pair of black slacks. Her hair was curled at the ends but looked decent.
Joanna, too, looked very professional, but had opted to put on a gray pinstriped business suit with a skirt instead of pants.
"Good morning!" said Caelyn with a bright smile.
"Looks like someone had their morning caffeine boost," remarked Joanna with a smile.
"Yup. Want some coffee?"
"Yes, with my regulars."
Joanna dug into her breakfast quickly while Caelyn stayed in the kitchen, holding her coffee mug. Joanna wasn't the best of cooks and tended to burn most of her attempts at food, so Caelyn didn't mind cooking meals for her friend. ~*~*~*~*~ Dr. Bailey quickly issued the interns to their stations before heading toward the entrance. She would be greeting the transfers and get them off to work as quickly as possible.
"Good morning ladies," she barked as she spotted them. She mentally approved of their outward appearance. Now if only my interns would dress like that... "If you will follow me, I will show you around and get you off to where you need to be." ~*~*~*~*~ Caelyn settled herself down in the trauma radiology section of the hospital, a plastic cup of coffee on hand. She gently sipped it as she waited for patients to come in.
It wasn't until five minutes after she finished her coffee that a patient arrived. A gorgeous man was wheeling the bed into the room.
"You must be Caelyn Stevens, correct?" he asked.
"That would be me, yes." She jumped up from her seat.
"I am Dr. Derek Shepherd and need a few x-rays of this lady's abdomen."
Caelyn grabbed hold of the clipboard and overlooked the charts and notes. "Okay. Let me prep the room for ya, Dr. Shepherd."
"Say, you wouldn't be related to Izzie Stevens, would you?"
"I am her cousin."
She quickly got the room ready and helped Shepherd get the bed into the room. Then she proceeded to take the x-rays and developed them for her and the doctor to look at.
"Looks like we have some damage to her organs down here," replied Caelyn, pointing out the organs. "Mostly to the liver. Did her charts indicate that she drank a lot?"
Shepherd flipped through the patient's files. "She used to be a chronic drinker."
She swore softly. "Then it looks like she broke a few ribs here," she pointed them out, "and here. Otherwise, she looks fine on the insides." She turned to Shepherd. "Just in case, why don't you get a couple CT's to see if anything else is injured."
"I shall do so." He gave her a smile. "Thank you, Dr. Stevens." He wheeled the patient away.

i got really bored, so I will continue. Patty, until I better understand your character, I will let you do her for awhile. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn and Joanna found an emtpy table in the cafeteria during their lunch break.
"How is your day so far?" Caelyn asked, ripping a salad dressing packet open and pouring the dressing onto her salad.
"Boring. Yours?"
She chewed her food first before answering, "It's great so far. It's not too busy, but not too quiet."
"Just the way you like it," replied Joanna with a smile. The smile melted away when the group of interns came their way, with Izzie leading.
"Hey guys!" Izzie exclaimed, sitting down next to her cousin. "How goes your first day?"
Joanna sent a cold glare to her friend's cousin, which she cheerfully ignored in favor of drilling her cousin.
"Geez, when did the Spanish Inquisition arrive?" Cristina asked, opening a bag of chips.
The rest of the lunch period went without fuss. Izzie had already introduced her cousin and her friend to every doctor that passed by. Caelyn was in the middle of talking with Dr. Preston Burke when her pager went off.
"Gotta run, guys." She quickly disposed of her lunch, waved goodbye to her cousin, and dashed to the radiology center.
On the way there, she had accidently bumped into a man.
"Sorry!" Caelyn apologized, grabbing the sheets of paper that had scattered from the man's hands.
"It's alright," the man replied, glancing up from the floor to look at her. She looked up too.
Gods, is he ever the finest specimen of the male species... she thought dreamily.
Caelyn cleared her throat and finished picking up the mess. He still was staring at her, but with a smile on his face.
"What is your name?"
"Caelyn Stevens. I work in the radiology department, the trauma unit. And you?"
His smile widened. "Mark Sloan. I work in plastic surgery. Nice to meet you, Dr. Stevens." He held out a hand to her.
She shook it and then found herself back on her feet, with Mark Sloan walking away. ~*~*~*~ i just had to do that

It's okay. Jo is cold and emotionless. ~*~
Cristina watched Caelyn run out of the cafeteria and smiled at her back. It was rare to see a Doctor so eager to walk out of their lunch to actully do work.
"So, you know Lyn from College?" Izzie asked turning her attention back to Joanna who rolled her eyes at the blonde.
"No, I just lied about it." Joanna picked up her tray and walked over to the trash can and threw eveything away.
"McIce queen?" George asked raising an eyebrow at his friends.
"Mcbitch." Cristina said as Joanna walked out of the cafeteria.
"Come on," Meredith said frowning. "It's her first day."
"Doesn't make her any less a bitch." George said munching on his chips.
"She is cold." Izzie agreed.
"But she's good at her job. I observed her in the ER today and she knows what she's doing."
"And she knows it." Derek Shepherd said as he sat down in Caelyn's empty seat.
"You're having lunch with us?" Meredith smiled shyly as he winked at her.
"We're having a slow day." Derek smiled as he stole a fry from Meredith.
"That's what love is, stealing food." Izzie sighed slightly thinking of Alex.
"So, what are you doing tonight?" Derek asked ignoring the other interns and staring at Meredith.
"Nothing," Meredith smiled happily at him.
"What to catch a movie?" Derek asked.
"Sure," Meredith leaned over the tabel and kissed him lightly on the lips.
"...Do you hear something buzzing?" Cristina aske dlokking around.
"Huh?" Meredith stood still and listened.
"Sounds like a phone on virbrate." Izzie looked down on the ground and picked up a black razer cell phone.
"Good hearing Cristina." Meredith gave her friend a high five.
"...'Rat Bastard'?" Izzie asked looking at the screen.
"It doesn't say that!" Cristina laughed taking the phone and looking at the screen. "...It does say that."
"Let me see!" George took the phone and looked at the screen.
"Whose do you think it is?" Meredith asked smiling as the phone was passed to her boyfriend.
"Who was sitting here before you?" Derek asked as the phone stopped virbrating.
"My cousin and McBitch." Izzie smiled reaching for the phone and pocketing it.
"You think it's McBitch's?" Cristina asked.
"Who else would call someone Rat Bastard?" Izzie smiled.
"Whose McBitch?" Derek asked.
"we aren't calling her that!" Meredith said laughing. "Here, let me take it to her for you."
~*~
Joanna Dorian looked over the chart of the man laying in the bed infront of her. This hospitle was alot differant then she was used to. The Medical Center had been a living hell where Doctors battled eachother tooth and nail to get any kind of recignition. True, Cealyn had escaped that for the most part in her feild but Joanna had been in compatision from the begining.
"Excuss me, Joanna?" One of the interns from lunch walked over to her, Meredith or something. Friend of Caelyn's cousin I think...
"Doctor Dorian," Joanna corrected not glancing up from the chart.
"Erm, right." Meredith figeted slightly. "You left your phone at the tabel."
"Oh?" Joanna looked up and snatched the phone from the girl and dropped it into her pocket.
"...Aren't you going to see who called you?" Meredith asked looking at Joanna like she owed her something.
"No, i'm working." Joanna looked back down at her chart.
"He called 12 times." Meredith blurted out.
"Excuss you?" Joanna glared at Meredith.
"I looked to see who it belonged to and the call long came up..." Meredith blushed slightly. "I think if he called that many times-"
"Well, Mary Beth, that means alot that you want to interfear with my personal life but i don't want it or need it." Joanna waved her hand dismissivly.
"I was just trying to help." Meredith seethed.
"You want to help? So tell me this if this patient has fever of 103, renal failure and platelets of 25,000. What is the diagnosis and management?" Joanna asked holding up the chart.
"It's obvious the patient is septic. I'd treat him with an activated protein C, what are we trying to do here?" Meredith asked. Joanna smirked at the girl in the evilish way she knew how.
"That's just an excellent diagnosis. However, with his low platelet count treatment with activated protein C would cause what?" Joanna asked taking back the chart.
"Brain hemorrhage..." Meredith flinched as she thought about how she should have known that.
"Which would lead his death." Joanna did an innacent smile. "Let me guess, you want to be a surgin, right? So, real doctors will be having to clean up a lot of your mistakes, wont they?"
"That is not-" Meredith's vioce sounded weak and Joanna knew that three years ago she would have felt bad about that. now it gave her an odd sort of rush to break other people's self esteme.
"You may go now." Joanna wrote something down on the chart and walked off.

Clear how she is?

I think I understand her better now... ~*~*~*~ Caelyn tapped her pencil on her desk, feeling a little bored. As the afternoon went on, she had very few patients come in. She now was the only one in the radiology department at time. Not that she minded, really.
"Hello again, Dr. Stevens," came a male voice from behind her.
Caelyn swirled her chair around and saw Mark Sloan standing there. "Hello to you too, Dr. Sloan. What can I do for you?"
He leaned against the doorframe. "Just to talk. I see that your end is quiet too."
"Yeah, but I am in charge of all the equipment."
"Think you can handle it?"
She gave a laugh. "I am certified in all fields of radiology, Dr. Sloan. I think I can handle it just fine."
He smiled. "I have no doubt."
Caelyn took the small silence to look at Mark again. He had quite a stubble growing, meaning he would probably grow a mustache and a beard. His somewhat dark hair was short and cut into a military cut, as she called it.
She was thrown from her observation when one of the interns she met earlier, George, gave a knock.
"It was nice talking to you, Dr. Stevens," said Mark as he left.
Caelyn turned to George. "What can I do for you?"
"Um, I need an MRI for a head trauma patient," he said, handing her the clipboard.
"Okay." She shuffled through the notes. "Follow me then." ~*~*~*~ Mark walked aimlessly around the hospital, checking in on patients if necessary. He couldn't get his mind off of the new radiologist. He barely knew her and she intrigued him more than Addison ever did. And Caelyn was certainly more beautiful than Derek's ex-wife. ~*~*~*~*~ George stood behind Caelyn as the MRI machine came to life rather noisily and started to pull the patient into the large tubular machine.
"Were there any difficulties before you brought her here?" Caelyn asked, watching the computer screen intently.
"She couldn't recall anything that had happened before the accident and she had wounds on her head. Dr. Bailey wasn't sure if there is any internal bleeding in her brain or if anything was being affected by the trauma."
She leaned forward as images started appearing on the screen. "Looks like there is some internal bleeding near the occipital lobe and the brain looks a little swollen." She dotted down notes and then printed out the results. "Take these to Dr. Bailey when you return the patient."
"Thank you, Dr. Stevens," replied George as he followed her out.
"No problem." ~*~*~*~*~ "I think you are right," said Meredith as she walked to her fellow interns in the locker room. "She is McBitch. I swear she is devoid of any emotion."
"She's not human!" gasped Alex, making people chuckle.
"She gave me such a hard time. She's reminds me of Bailey."
"So, you are saying she is Bailey recarnate?" Cristina asked, pulling the string from her pants so she could change.
"Or she could be her evil twin," added Alex. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn pulled off her lab coat and hung it in her locker, then grabbed her purse and left the building. She nodded to Dr. Bailey as she passed through the ICU to get to the parking lot.
"Can I ask you a quick question, Dr. Stevens?" Cristina asked as she exited the womens locker room.
"Shoot," said Caelyn.
"Is Dr. Dorian an alien?"
She stifled a laugh. "What makes you think that, Dr..."
"Yang. Cristina Yang. She was giving Meredith a hard time today."
Caelyn turned around and made eye contact with the interns who followed. "Dr. Dorian always gives people a hard time. Don't take it personally."
"But what happened to make her..." started Meredith.
"Look, guys. It was a hard time for me to even befriend Dr. Dorian, much less take her emotionless ways. I cannot tell you exactly what happened to make her the way she is." She got into the elevator as the doors opened. "And don't ask her about it. She is very sensitive on that topic." ~*~*~*~

~*~ "Quitting time," Joanna muttered to herself as slipped in to her causal clothes for the taxi ride home. It was odd going an entire day with only ripping one person's self esteme apart but she imagined it would get easyer. As she imerged from the women's locker room a male doctor jumped her her path. "Excuss me," Joanna side stepped him but he walked in her way again. "I don't know if we've meet but i'm Doctor Sheperd." The doctor said. "Good for you," Joanna crossed her arms infront of her chest. "Would you mind moving, I want to get home." "I heard you gave Meredith Grey a hardtime today." Doctor Sheperd said. "I knew her mom was some big someone back in the day but this explains why she walks with her head high." Joanna shook her head slightly. "Sleeping with an intern is bad form, isn't it?" "What?!" Doctor Sheperd paled slightly "No normale doctor would want to scold someone about being mean to an intern with out sex being involved." Joanna shrugged her shoulders as she walked past him and down the stairs. ~*~ "You're making friends fast," Caelyn said when Joanna walked into her apartment. "Did she tell everyone and their mother about that?" Joanna rolled her eyes slightly. "She's a nice girl." Caelyn said preheating the oven. "I'm sure she is," Joanna sighed. "I didn't mean to snap at her but she asked a personal question that was none of her bussiness." "You do have Warren's id on your phone as 'rat bastard', that's going to get questions asked." Caelyn giggled. ~*~

nice update ;D ~*~*~*~*~ Joanna huffed. "You know better than me that he is a bastard and is rat-like."
"I know, Jo. I remember you introducing him to me years ago." Caelyn placed the food into the oven and set the timer.
"And what was up with that hot doctor who was checking you out?" Joanna asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
Caelyn blushed deeply. "He wasn't checking me out! Was he?" she added nervously.
"You can be so damn blind sometimes, Lyn. Of course he was checking you out! He gets this glint in his eyes when you are around."
"Oh, perfect. My first day on the job and already I have admirers." She raked a hand through her short hair and plopped down on her couch.
Joanna perched on the couch beside her friend. "It's him you're thinking about, isn't it? Your ex?"
She nodded. "Yeah. I wanted to forget about him, but thinking about this Dr. Sloan makes me think of him again..."
"Listen. He was a bastard for leaving you like that. He was a bastard for continuing that relationship with that bitch while he was with you."
Caelyn nodded and wiped her tears away in time for the timer on the oven to go off. ~*~*~*~*~ Derek walked Meredith up to the front door of her house that she shared with George and Izzie. They were holding hands and talking with smiles on their faces.
"That was fun," said Meredith, turning to face him. His blue eyes looked into her green ones dreamily.
"That it was," he replied softly. "Wanna go out this weekend? This time I was planning on hiking and fishing.... outdoor stuff."
Her smile widened. "I would love to, Derek."
His smile widened as well and he leaned down to kiss her when the door opened and revealed Izzie.
"Oops!" Izzie blushed and shut the door, causing the couple to laugh.
"I better go," Meredith said sadly.
"Yeah."
They stared into each other's eyes again and they kissed quick but passionately. ~*~*~*~*~ Caelyn and Joanna arrived early to Seattle Grace and spent some time grabbing a quick breakfast from the cafeteria.
"Good morning, Dr. Shepherd," said Joanna sweetly as he passed by.
"Morning Dr. Dorian, Dr. Stevens," greeted Derek, sipping his coffee. "Mind if I sit here?"
"Go ahead," replied Caelyn, looking to her friend with curiosity.
He sat down and the three were quiet as they slowly became more aware. Joanna kept sneaking glances at Derek and he seemed to ignore them.
"So, why did you ladies choose to move here instead of continuing to live wherever you were living?" he asked curiously.
"We heard that Seattle Grace was a very respectable hospital and needed all of the staff it could afford. Besides, Seattle Grace is much better than the hospitals we worked at." Caelyn looked to him. "I hear that you came from New York yourself."
"Yeah. I wanted to forget that my best friend slept with my wife."
"And that's how you met Meredith, your intern," interrupted Joanna.
"Joanna!" Caelyn exclaimed, looking shocked.
"What? She is his intern and he's dating her!"
"So? I seem to remember a certain incident I walked in on years ago."
Joanna appeared flustered while Derek and Caelyn laughed.
"And when did this happen?" Derek asked, looking amused.
"Don't say a word, Caelyn Nicole Stevens," growled Joanna.
Her friend winced. "Sorry Dr. Shepherd... another time."
"Please call me Derek."
She smiled. "As long as you can call me Lyn." ~*~*~*~ wow... a long assed chapter. woot!

~*~
Suddenly a soft song started playing from Joanna's pocket. "Goddamn it." Joanna reached in and looked down at it.
"...Maybe you should talk to him." Caelyn suggested.
"Are you insane?" Joanna glared at her friend.
"It might make him stop calling." Derek said off handedly.
"Fine," Joanna got up from the tabbel and walked off bumping shoulders with Doctor Sloan.
"what's her deal?" Doctor Sloan asked sitting down next to Caelyn.
"Mark," Derek said in a stern tone.
"Hm?" Mark smiled slightly looking over at Caelyn.
"hi again Doctor Sloan." Caelyn smiled.
"Mark," He corrected winking at her.
"Erm.." Caelyn blushed slightly. "Ceaelyn."
"I know." Mark took her hand curessing it slightly.
"Mark." Derek warned. He knew his ex-best friend was a flirt but Caelyn had only been here a few days...
"Say, how would you like to go out for a drink some time, hm? "Mark asked softly.
~*~
Joanna walked into an on callroom and shut the door. She stared down at the phone that told her she had missed another call. Counting her home phone that was the 46th time he'd called since she'd moved. She knew his number by heart but she stared at the phone.
"It's not that hard, Jo. Just press the bottons." She muttered to her self. She closed her eyes as she pressed redial. It rang once before she heard someone pickk up the phone. There was a moment of just breathing on the other end.
"So you finnaly deside to return my call and i have to talk first?" His vioce was harsh and bitter yet Joanna felt that familiar rush at the simple sound of it.
"Yes," it was simple and she hoped her vioce sounded stern.
"It wasn't my fault." Warren said.
"Of course not, it's never your fault." She knew her vioce was stronger now. "I have to get back to work."
"Don't do that! You always build up this big wall when ever-" She pressed the end botton and slide down the wall as the tears started.

Caelyn was blushing like mad and Derek continued to frown at his ex-friend. Mark continued to wait for her answer, stroking her hand.
"S-sure," she answered with a smile.
"Great. I'll pick you up from work tonight, Caelyn." He raised her hand up to his mouth and he kissed it. Then he left.
Derek shook his head. "Don't hold your breath, Lyn. Mark's too much of a heart breaker to be a good boyfriend."
"I don't plan on it being much anyway, Derek. It's just a drink."
"Whose getting a drink?" Joanna asked, coming back.
"Mark asked Lyn out for a drink tonight," replied Derek quickly.
"Ooh... good one. But, are you sure you want to start dating now?"
Caelyn sighed. "Jo..."
"I know that I shouldn't be saying anything and all, but I would've thought that after what Darien did to you you would've keep it down."
"Darien?" Derek asked, looking to Caelyn.
She swiped a hand across her eyes. "My ex-boyfriend. We were together for, what, 3 to 4 years. I was so in love with him and I thought he was in love with me."
"Until she caught him with another woman," added Joanna. "I beat up that son of a bitch when I heard. He doesn't look the same."
"I'm so sorry, Lyn," said Derek, placing a hand on her arm.
"It's alright. That was a few months ago." ~*~*~*~ that's all for now

"I know how it feels to have someone cheat on you..." Derek smiled saddly at her. "If you ever want to talk.."
"thank you but I'm okay, really." Caelyn smiled.
"So where's he taking you?" Joanna asked.
"I'm not really sure," Caelyn blushed slightly.
~*~
It was another slow day at Seatle Grace hospitle. True, there had been a few teenages brought in slightly over dosed from a "MD party" but nothing seriuos had been brought to Caelyn, which she secretly thought was a good thing. All day her mind had wondered to the doctor she had heard one of the interns label "McSteamy" and she had to agree. He was basicly sex on legs, not that she'd ever vioce that sort of thing to anyone else. Although Joanna had a habit of knowing what she was thinking and vioceing it for her.
"Hey there Doctor stevens." Caelyn jumped in her chair as she turned around and stared at Mark.
"Hello." Caelyn smiled getting up from her chair.
"Are you ready to go?" Mark asked smirking at her flushed cheeks.
"I just need to change," Caelyn said walking past Mark. Mark walked next to her and she could feel the heat from his body as the walked torwards the locker room. "I'll be right back."
"I'll be waiting," Mark half smiled at her as she walked into the room.
"Is it true you got a date with Mcsteamy?!" Izzie asked running up to her cousin.
"Yeah..."
"Oh!" Izzie hugged her cousin tightly. "I'm so proud!"

I've got 2 hours before my next class so... ~*~
"Is it really that big a deal?" Caelyn laughed pulling out of her cousin's grip.
"He's in the top four." Cristina said looking at a mirror in her locker adjusting her shirt.
"Which makes him a very big deal." Izzies smiled.
"It's just a drink," Caelyn blushed as she slipped out of her work clothes.
"But it could be more, right?" Mereideth asked hopefully.
"I don't really know-"
"If there is something more I want full details!" Izzie beamed.
"Give the women room to breath, for fuck's sake." Joanna said in her usally cold vioce as she walked it to the room. Caelyn noticed the entire locker room turn cold as the other girls walked back to their own lockers.
"Jo, can i talk to you a second?" Cealyn whispered as the other women opened her own locker.
"What's up?"
"Would it hurt to be pleasent to them for a second?" Caelyn asked softly.
"You're starting on that kick again?" Joanna rolled her eyes as she got changed quickly.
"I know you'll do it in your own time but you kind of scare them." Caelyn finished getting dressed glad she had worn a green dress earlyer.
"Meh." Joanna shrugged her shoulders.
"You're hopeless." Cealyn smiled as she checked her self in the mirror. "When do you want dinner?"
"I'll order pizza, just have fun okay?" Joanna flashed a half smile as she walked out of the locker room.
~*~
Joanna climbed up the stairs to her apartment at a slow pace. True, she could have taken the elavator but she need to work off those 5 cupcakes she had eaten after the phone call with warren. No, don't go down that train of thought! Joanna scolded he self as she pushed open the door to her floor and walking to down the hall.
"That's not normale..." Joanna bended down infront of her door and picked up the single red rose. She turned it around in her fingers.
"Figured that was a better way of letting you know I was in town then standing out side your door all day." Joanna whiped around and stared at Warren who was leaning against the wall across from her door. His blonde hair hung in front of his blue eyes and Joanna felt a warm rush go up her body.
"Why are you here?" Joanna asked glaring at him.
"We need to talk." Warren said plainly.
"Well, then you came for nothing, didn't you?" Joanna turned her back and reached in her purse looking for her keys.
"I know you like to think people are always out to hurt you but could you just let me explain what happened." Warren was standing right behind her whispering in her ear.
"Your not my thearpist, Warren." Joanna pulled out her keys ingoring the shiver that her body gave in responce.
"I never said I was." Warren said stepping back from her body as Joanna unlocked her door. "but I didn't fly the 2 hours to get the same treatment I did when I call you."
"...You took a plane." Joanna turned her head torwards him.
"Yes."
"You hate to fly."
"I'm well aware of my own fears, darling." Warren tucked his hair behind his ears.
"...You have 1o minnets." Joanna opened her door and motioned him inside.

I'm sick again. And I have pink eye. Just bloody great, really. I'm housebound until I get rid of the pink eye. Joy. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn smoothed out the wrinkles in her favorite green cashmere shirt as she examined herself in the full-length mirror. Even if it was just for a drink, she wanted to look good.
"Don't worry, you look beautiful," came the voice of her best friend.
"Thanks, Jo." She turned around and flashed a smile at Joanna. ~*~*~*~ Mark glanced up as Caelyn walked down the steps of the apartments. Even if her outfit was very casual, she looked very beautiful. He wondered why he had never met her before in his life.
"You look good," he responded, opening the passenger door of his car open for her.
"Thanks, so do you," she replied back, smiling.
Soon they were sitting in a local bar named Joe's. Mark was having his double scotch, single malt while Caelyn ordered a fruity drink. He teased her about the drink, to which she teased him back. I knew there was a reason why I like this girl, thought Mark with a smile.
"What is your favorite color?" he asked, taking a sip from his drink.
She stared at him. "Why are you asking?"
He shrugged. "I just wanna get to know you before I date you."
Caelyn giggled. "Alright. But I will also ask questions to see if you are datable."
"Is there such a word?"
His smile widened as she burst into laughter.
"Fine, Mr. Funny Guy. My favorite color is silver. And you?" ~*~*~*~*~ Later on that evening, long after Mark and Caelyn left, a mysterious man stumbled into the bar. Joe, the bartender, glanced up curiously.
"Whiskey," the man rasped, sitting down on a barstool.
He was dripping wet from the downpour that started a few minutes ago. From afar, he looked unapproachable, but up close he was quite gorgeous. His hair was a dark brown with golden highlights that shone in the light. He also had light brown eyes that were almost golden.
"New to town?" Joe asked, sliding the glass to his customer.
"Yeah. I'm here for my girlfriend." The man tilted his head back and gulped the whiskey down. "She left me and ran here."
"That's rough. What's her name?"
"Caelyn Stevens. She works in the hospital as a radiologist." ~*~*~* oh dear... who could it be? I will do more soon

muahaha... I am such a dork ~*~*~*~ "How was the hot date?" Izzie asked as she entered the radiology department.
Caelyn glanced up from her paperwork. "It was great." She took a look at the patient and got up. "What's up with this one?"
"May have a possible aneurisym. Dr. Shepherd asked me to prove it." ~*~*~*~*~ The mysterious man from the bar stumbled into the Seattle Grace Hospital and leaned against the main desk.
"Can I help you, sir?" a woman asked.
"Yes. Can you page Caelyn Stevens for me? I need to see her." ~*~*~*~*~ Joanna stopped as she passed through the main entrance. Her eyes slid over the form of the man and her gaze hardened.
"What the hell are you doing here?" she asked loudly. Everyone in the area froze, except the man.
"Jo? Is that you?" His bloodshot eyes took her in. "Lyn managed to get you out of the Cities?"
She crossed her arms. "Get out of here. Now."
He gave a short laugh. "No. I need to see Lyn."
"You are in no..."
"Did someone..." Caelyn froze as she descended the stairs.
The man smiled widely. "Lyn! What a surprise!" ~*~*~*~*~ "Sit down," growled Joanna as she shoved the man down on the bed.
"I'm fine, Jo."
"No. You are drunk."
"How do you know Dr. Stevens?" George asked. Joanna glared at the intern assisting her.
"You don't know me?" He laughed, his words slowly slurring together. "I thought Lyn would, as I was very important..."
"Shut your pie hole."
George glanced down at the chart in his hands. "All I know is that you are unnamed."
"And he will remain that way, O'Malley," growled Joanna, strapping the man's arms down to the bed. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn was in the office with the Chief. Some of the interns and attendings were in the room with her. Mark had taken a spot next to her and was rubbing her back, with Derek glaring.
"What is his name?" Webber asked, rubbing his temples.
"I cannot tell you, Chief. He should have never come here."
Izzie frowned. "He kind of reminded me of Darien Robertson, one of the most famous..."
Realization dawned upon the group, but especially for Derek. He glanced at Caelyn, who had put her head in her hands.
"Is this the Darien that you found...."
She gave a sigh and nodded. ~*~*~~8 gotta go to bed now

"Hold on a sec," demanded Izzie, glancing to Caelyn. "You were screwing this man, a world renown pharmacist?"
Caelyn shot a look at her ex then looked back at Izzie. "Was. I was screwing him up until I found him in bed with another woman."
"I left her," Darien declared, reaching out for her hand. "C'mon, baby. Let me take you home."
She glared at him. "Don't."
He got up from where he was sitting and kneeled in front of her. "We didn't even get to plan the wedding."
Everyone seemed to freeze except for the two and Joanna.
"Wedding?" Mark asked.
"I put the ring away, Darien," snapped Caelyn, glaring down at him. "I stopped loving you the day I saw you with her."
"She's gone now, darling. Come home."
SLAP! Darien's head spun to the side as she slapped him.
"How dare you. I was starting to be happy here in Seattle. I even dated again. Jo can tell you how long it took for me to get over your betrayal." With that, the radiologist mumbled an apology to the Chief and left the room.
Joanna stood up, glaring down at the man as well. "I never liked you to begin with. Hell, I gave you the benefit of a doubt when I saw how happy you made Lyn. I was going to be supportive and be a good bridesmaid. Then she came home one night, crying her eyes out. She really loved you. And what did you do? You went and slept with another woman." She held out a hand to stop him from voicing his opinion. "Let me finish. It took her months to get over you. Now, she recently found someone that could make her happy, although it may not work. Go crawl back up the ass you came from."
The door slammed behind Joanna's retreating form. The room was very still and no one spoke up. Darien never got up from his position on the floor. ~*~*~*~ Caelyn dove into her work, just as she had when she found out her fiance was cheating on her. Not even Mark could cheer her up.
Darien was the subject of many glares from those who knew the situation. Not that he cared. All he wanted was to have his fiancee back into his arms. ~*~*~*~ there's a little background between Darien and Caelyn.

Nifty. ~*~ "Bad things always come in threes," muttered Joanna as she looked at another person's chart. It was a rule in Joanna' world that always made its self come true. Darien's betrayl had fallowed Joanna's apartment burning down which was fallowed by lossing a little girl who had been hit by a car. Something worse was going to happen, she could feel it in the air. " Start talking," Joanna said shutting the door behind him.
"She is my mother, Jo."
"She's the devil's misstress." Joanna crossed her arms over her chest. "9 minnets."
"She was berating you infront of me so I stood up for you. She conected the dots on her own." Warren brushed his hair out of his eyes.
"It lost me my job!" Joanna nearly yelled.
"And I'm sorry about that, okay? What did you want me to do?" Warren asked leaning against the wall.
"I don't know! Something!" Joanna did yell this time and Warren pushed her up against the wall kissing her passionetly as she wrapped her arms around him."Doctor Dorian?" George asked causing Joanna to jump from her thoughts. "What?" Joanna asked crossly. "Erm, what did you want me to do with..." George jerked his head torwards Darien's bed. "murdering him would get my license revolcted wouldn't it?" Joanna sighed dramaticly. "Keep him over night and give him the least amount of care with out getting sued." "...Is that ethical?" George asked raising an eyebrow. "no but it will make Caelyn feel better, not to mention stroke your ego a bit by watching his self esteme lower with each time you ignore him." "Is there some code of conduct you live my or are you just naturally evil?" George asked raising an eyebrow. "I personally like: Life's a bitch so I became one. learn it, live it, love it." Joanna smiled sweetly putting down the cart she had been scanning. "Have a fun night watching over the hospitle, don't kill anyone." "...Seriuosly?" George asked himself after she was out of ear shot. ~*~ Caelyn shut off the tv and sighed. There was only so many soap operas one could take before they went insane. She stared up at the ceiling well, Jo always says bad things always happen in threes... Suddenly there was a thud next door in Joanna's apartment. Caelyn jumped up and looked at the clock. "Jo wont be home for another 4 minnets..." Caelyn got up from the couch and walked into the hall and tapped slightly on the door. It swung open and Caelyn nearly did a double take. "Caelyn...Hi." Warren said blushing slightly standing in the door way in a wrinkled bussiness suit. "What are you doing here!?" Caelyn demaned. "...Long version or short version?" Warren asked. ~*~ Just to fill in the blanks of last nights events. Warren and Joanna had angry sex. ~*~
