I'll start this little roleplay. The Animorphs series is complete and availabe at all libraries. We go to the same school that the others do ~*~*~*~ Riley's eyes watched the form of a dark kid that passed her by. He had dark hair and dark eyes, dressed in dark clothing that made him look pale, but it was a natural pale. She blushed when he looked her way.
"Hi," she said shyly.
"Hey," he replied. "Um, could you direct me to the principal's office? I'm kind of new here and I don't know my way around here."
Riley's face brightened. "Of course!" She jumped up, swinging her backpack onto her shoulder. "My name is Riley Hopkins."
"I'm Tobias," he said holding out his hand. She shook it.
"C'mon Tobias. I'll show you around while we head to the office."
Tobias smiled. Riley could feel her insides melt as they walked toward the entrance.
"Okay. This is the main entrance, obviously. On the left are the counselor's offices along with the administrative offices. The principal's office will be in there, though you should speak to the secretary before entering."
"Thanks again, Riley," Tobias said.
"No problem." She turned away so she could head to her locker when he spoke again.
"What grade are you in?"
"8th. How about you?"
"Same. We might have the same classes."
"That would be nice," she said, smiling. "See you later, Tobias."
Tobias watched the girl with dark blonde hair walk away before he entered the office. ~*~*~*~ Riley could feel someone watching her as she put her backpack in her locker. She turned around and caught the gaze of Vicky Stone.
Vicky was a loner of the Northfield High School population. Most people considered her a goth, because she wore a lot of black clothing and wore dark make-up. Others said she was an outcast, a nobody.
Vicky eventually adverted her dark gaze, concentrating on picking at the lacy edges of her short skirt. Riley let out a sigh and shut her locker. ~*~*~*~ "Be ready to turn in your papers next week," the English teacher shouted as his students packed up their belongings. Riley hid a secret smile, knowing that she didn't need to work on the paper this weekend. She already had finished the paper within the first few days it was assigned.
"Hey," came a familiar voice.
"Hey!" Riley exclaimed, smiling at Tobias. "How's it going?"
"It's alright, considering I have to do this paper." He held up the sheet of paper that had the information about the paper.
"It's easy. Mine is already done."
"Wow. You must be a straight A student."
She smiled. "Yeah. I love school, unlike any of the other kids."
"I can tell." ~*~*~*~*~ Once school was done for the day, Riley stepped outside to breathe in fresh air when she came face to face with Vicky. They stared at each other before Vicky pulled out a cigarette. The light-haired girl walked away, not wanting to breathe in the toxic fumes that radiated from the stick.
Riley tugged her jacket closer as the wind picked up. ~*~*~*~ Vicky took a little walk as she took a pull from her cigarette. Walks were what soothed her and let her know that she wasn't that much different from the others. Just because she chose to dress differently and wear her make-up differently than others didn't mean that she wasn't human.
She stopped when her foot nudged something. She looked down... and screamed. ~*~*~*~ Riley jumped when she heard a scream. She ran toward where she heard the scream.
"Are you...." she stopped when she saw it was Vicky, standing over a form of a bluish creature that was laid out on the concrete. It looked like it could have been a deer if it haven't been for the human-like chest and head, the two stalks that had eyes on top, a patch of skin where a mouth should have been, and the scorpin-like tail with a long blade at the end.
She turned toward Vicky. "What is it?"
"Don't know," Vicky said, "but I don't want to find..."
<I am an Andalite,> came a voice inside their heads.
"Whoa." Riley jumped back.
<Do not be afraid. I mean you no harm.> The creature, an Andalite, groaned, holding one of his multi-fingered hands to a wound on his back. <I do not have much time left and you need to be protected. Your planet is at risk for an invasion.>
"By one of you?" Vicky demanded.
<No. By the Yeerks.>
"The what?" Riley asked.
<Yeerks. They invade the minds of those it finds and control the host. In three days they need nourishment and will slip out to feed. The hosts are called Controllers.> The alien got a pained look on his face. <They already have begun to invade your planet. You are the humans' only hope. I can give you the power to fight them.>
"But how?" the girls asked together. They glanced at each other.
He held out his other hand, which had a blue cube resting on it. <Touch this cube with only one hand.>
Both girls hesitated for a second before Riley stretched out her hand. Vicky slapped it away.
"Are you crazy? Don't touch it."
"What if he is right? And those creatures are here on Earth, taking over our minds at this moment? I'm not going to let this opportunity pass us by." She placed her hand on the cube, which turned a pale red.
<Go on,> the Andalite said to Vicky. <It doesn't hurt.>
"I hope you are right," Vicky said before placing her hand on the top of the cube.
Both of them felt a sort of tingly feeling go through their hands and into their bodies. The cube disappeared with a flash.
<It is done.> Soon, the Andalite's body began to grow limp. <With this power, you are able to take the shape of any animal you touch. But remember this: you can only stay in the animal form for two hours and you will be able to keep the DNA in your bloodstream.> The eyes on top of his head seemed to smile. <I hope you will be able to save your planet.>
The alien slumped to the ground and remained unmoving. ~*~*~*~

~*~
"This is insane." Vicky looked down at the dead alien and then looked at Riley. This wasn't happening, it couldn't be.
"I know what you mean." Riley put her hand threw her hair. Vicky looked at the other girl with a raised eyebrow. Riley was the smartest girl at school and although she wasn't popular everyone was nice to her and talked to her.
"No, you don't." Vicky turned on her heel and stalked off torwards home. She wanted to have another cig but she could waste them.
"Wait!" Riley yelled running up behind Vicky grabbing her arm. "What do you mean? We just went threw the same thing!"
"Yeah, well, i've heard that story before. mind letting go?" Vicky asked giving her best gloomy look.
"Bs," Riley said letting go of Vicky. "And who told you?"
"My mom, okay? she kept talking about it untell they locked her up in Nut house, Mkay?" Vicky reached into her pocket and grabbed out her pack.
"I...I'm sorry." Riley touched Vicky softly on the arm.
"It's not a big, really." Vicky shruggged. "Course if you tell anyone I'll kill you in your sleep."
"...Anyone ever telling you your sorta scary?" Riley asked.
"Only when they don't think I can hear them." Vicky smiled a little.
"...Do you want to come over to my house? It's closer and we could...watch some tv." Riley said figetting.
"you want to test this 'power' huh?" Vicky asked.
"A little."

Vicky shrugged. "I guess." ~*~*~*~ "You have got to be shitting me."
Riley raised an eyebrow at the language but continued to pet her blue and white parakeet. "I don't think we should start with large animals yet, or animals that we know we cannot control."
Vicky snorted. "And a bird won't be hard to become?"
The other girl ignored that remark and began to concentrate on her bird. The parakeet went quiet and still, letting her owner's hand stroke her chest. After a while, Riley opened her eyes and the bird let out a coo.
"Okay, got it." She put the parakeet back into her cage and stood in the middle of her room.
"What was it like?" Vicky asked, wanting to know how it felt.
"It felt like that tingling feeling we had tonight."
Riley closed her eyes. The goth started to notice that the girl's skin was starting to change, forming a color pattern close to that of the parakeet. Then the skin seemed to rise and form feathers along her arms. While this was happening, Riley began to shrink rapidly, her clothes swallowing her changing form. Vicky could not see the rest of the transformation because of the clothes.
"Are you done?" she said to the pile of clothes.
<I..I think so.>
Vicky jumped. "This is so weird."
<I know. It may be cool but it is weird.> She was silent for a second. <I am done. Could you please move my clothes? I feel a little confined.>
The girl did as she was told and had to dive out of the way as the parakeet took off into the air.
<This feels so natural! It's amazing!>
"You look so much like..."
<Well, yeah, I think I would be a carbon copy of my pet. Hold out your hand.>
Vicky did so and the parakeet landed on her hand. The bird tilted her head, looking at the goth.
"This is really weird, y'know."
<You're telling me.>
"Are you able to control the bird?"
<Yeah. It's not too hard, though you might have to live with flying around a lot. I'm going to change back.>
"Not on my hand you won't." She immediately set the parakeet on the floor.
This time, it seemed that the transformation was a little slower but Riley still managed to change back into herself, albeit naked.
Riley let a blush flow over her cheeks. "We got to find a way to change with clothes." She pulled on her clothing quickly. "Alright. Your turn Vicky."
"Could I try something else other than a bird?" she asked.
"Yeah. We could go outside and catch a squirrel."
"Sarcasm doesn't fit you." ~*~*~*~*~

Sorry, my power went out so all I had typed before went Blurp! ~*~ "Well, what do you expect to find outside?" Riley asked ajusting her clothes.
"I'm not really sure....just something." Vicky shrugged. No one had ever been this nice to her before...it was a little wierd.
"Well, there's a park near by." Riley smiled at Vicky. "Might find something for you there."
"Sounds good to me." Vicky fallowed the other girl out of the house and the two started walking down the street. Vicky wondered to herself why she'd never tried talking to Riley before, she was nice and a uber smart.
"Can I ask you something?" Riley asked as the got closer to the bright yellow playground.
"Go for it," vicky shrugged.
"Why do you dress like that?" Riley asked blushing slightly. "I mean its a little wierd isn't it?"
"I dress the way I do because it makes me who I am. Sure, I could wear jeans and a t-shirt but it makes me feel like I'm trying to blend in." Vicky looked down at her black nail polish. "It's not a big statment or fighting the system just me being who I am. Stuicking out and being against the flow feels right to me, you know?"
"You're really brave." Riley smiled warmly at Vicky.
"It's not that big a deal, "Vicky tried to surpress the smile that graced her face. No one ever got it before, they all rolled their eyes normally.
"...Do you think its really happening? The whole Yeek thing?" Riley asked as the stepped on to the grass.
"I don't know. I mean, how would we really tell?" Vicky shrugged.
"You know, I've been thinking about that new club that started a couple weeks ago..." Riley looked around as if making sure noone was around.
"The sharing?" Vicky asked.
"Yeah," Riley nodded. "They've been putting posters up all over school."
"They asked me to join, I thought it was a bit strange." Vicky said. "Do you think it's...them?"
"I'm not sure but yeah, I do." Riley nodded.
"Twisted," Vicky sighed dramaticly.
"I know," Riley sat down on a bench and looked out at the swings. Vicky looked around the park to see if she could see anything interesting.
"Do you think we're alone in this whole fighting thing?" Vicky asked the question that had been nagging her ever since the alien had told them.
"I don't think so. Someone else has to know, right?" Riley smiled.
"Reow!" Vicky looked down at her leg and saw a small Mackerel tabby cat rub up against her leg.
"Hey there little guy," Vicky cruched down and picked the cat up.
"Looks like one found you." Riley smiled widly.
"Guess so." Vicky began to concentrate on the cat in her arms. It went still, letting her rub it's ears. After a while, the cat started to purr. "Do you think it worked?"
"Try it out, there isn't anyone around." Riley smiled as Vicky put down the cat.
"Okay, "Vicky closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath. She tried to imagine the cat and started to feel her body get very tingly. Riley watched as Vicky' eyes turned to a gooseberry green then Vertical unbroken thin lines started to cover her skin. Riley wondered if she looked so odd as Vicky started to shrink and hunch over. Soon Vicky's clothes pooled over her so Riley couldn't see her.
"you okay? "Riley asked.
<Erm, having trouble getting out.> Vicky responded. Riley lifted up Vicky's shirt and the small cat rolled out of it looking up at Riley. <thanks.>
"You look so cute!" Riley smiled.
<it feels wierd...>

"It is weird to begin with. I think with more practice that we will have it down to a T." Riley picked up the cat and started to scratch the back of the cat's head.
<Ohhh... please don't stop. That's feels so good.>
She laughed when she heard the cat purr deeply. "I would continue to do so if it weren't for the two hour time period."
<It's not even been ten minutes. Let me stay for another few minutes. And continue to pet me.> ~*~*~*~*~ Tobias couldn't shake off the experience he had transforming into his own cat. It was amazing! And watching Jake change into his dog, Homer, was amazing. They could have easily stayed in their forms forever.
Tonight, though, Cassie was bringing them out to the zoo where her mother worked so that they could acquire more forms so they could battle against the Yeerks.
Once they reached the gates, Tobias immediately noticed that someone had already gotten through here. He glanced down and saw some fur that became stuck on the wire.
"What is it Tobias?" Rachel asked, flicking a lock of her long blonde hair away from her face.
"Nothing," he said, standing up and brushing the dirt off his jeans. "Let's go in." ~*~*~*~ "This is so awesome. I always thought of becoming a lion someday," Vicky said as she exited the lion exhibit.
"Yeah. It is pretty cool." Riley's eyes caught sight of the wolf exhibit. She started to walk toward the cage when she heard a noise.
"...all kinds of..." the black girl that had been talking stopped when she saw the two girls.
The six teenagers looked at each other warily, except for Tobias and Riley.
"What are you doing here?" they both said together. "To acquire animal DNA to use to defeat the Yeerks."
"So you know?" Marco asked, eyeing the two girls suspciously.
"Yeah... what's it to you?" Vicky asked, crossing her arms. "We got an ultra cool super power that I bet you don't have."
"What? Transforming into animals?"
"That's enough," said Jake quietly. Everyone became silent. "Now we know that we are not alone in this fight. I think together we will make a great team." He stretched out a hand to the two girls. "I'm Jake."
Riley went up to take the hand. "Riley. I already know Tobias and Marco."
Once everyone was through introducing themselves, Riley walked to the wolf exhibit. Cassie made a noise of protest and Tobias started to walk toward her when Vicky held him back.
"She can take care of herself," she hissed into his ear. ~*~*~*~

"...I guess she can." Tobias said walking away from Vicky. "I'm heading to the birds of prey."
"Be careful." Cassie called after him.
"We should all split up and get what we think will be useful," Jake said looking around. "Meet back here in an hour."
"Aye, aye, captain." Marco rolled his eyes walking off in another direction.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Rachel asked twisting her hair around her finger.
"We'll get more done on our own, come on." the rest of the group left leaving Vicky leaning against the fence. Not that I expected to get an instant friendship thing going with everyone who had the power but a little more then slight nods would have been peachy.
"Let's think, Vicky, what other animale do we want to be, hm?" Vicky leaned against the fence looking at her nails. There were tons of choices and she might as well get as many as possible well she could.
"Where'd everyone else go?" Riley asked shaking Vicky from her thoughts.
"Off finding other forms." Vicky shrugged.
"Where else do you want to go then? "Riley smiled. Vicky smiled back getting up from the fence.
"Want to go fallow that boy you were eyeing earlyer?" Vicky teased.
"I wasn't eyeing him!" Riley flushed.
"Uh huh." Vicky rolled her eyes.
"It wasn't obvous was it?" Riley asked as they walked off.
"Not really," Vicky said. "Do you think they have Ravens in the bird of prey area?"
"Thought you didn't like birds. "Riley said pushing vicky playfully.
"Well, Raven's are awesome." Vicky smiled. "Never more and all that."

Riley and Vicky entered the enclosure that was dedicated to just birds. Riley claimed that she wanted a better bird form in case she wanted to escape and also cause damage at the same time. Vicky rolled her eyes, thinking that she did it only to be closer to that one kid, Tobias.
Tobias was letting go of a red-tailed hawk when the girls entered the area. He smiled at Riley, who smiled back at him.
"Have you changed into an animal yet?" she asked.
"Yeah, I was my cat. How about you?"
"I became my parakeet. Vicky was a stray cat, as she didn't want to be a parakeet."
Vicky snorted. "Who would want to be a parakeet anyway?"
Riley sent the girl an amused look before approaching a broad-shouldered hawk.
Tobias watched her and Vicky let a smirk flow across her lips. So they like each other very much. This will be lots of fun. ~*~*~*~

"Jake!" Rachel said running over to her cousin as he climbed out of the tiger incloser.
"Got all the morphs you wanted?" Jake asked as he landed on the ground.
"Yeah," Rachel looked around making sure noone else was within hearing distance. "Do you really think we can trust Riley and that goth girl?"
"Of course." Jake rolled his eyes at her. "Neither one of them have been top the Sharing."
"Well, yeah but-"
"They were given the power same as us, why would we not trust them? It means we're not alone." Jake patted her on the shoulder.
"I know but that goth girl-"
"I think her names vicky." Jake interupted. "We're working togather. Let's try to get along."
"Fine." Rachel sighed.
~*~
Vicky let go of the Raven as it flow out of her hands. She wanted to try out the form but knew she had to find other morphs.
"I think she likes you," Tobias smiled at Riley stroked the hawk.
"She's beautiful," Riley smiled back blushing.
"Hey, i'm going to look around a little more!" Vicky called over to the two love birds.
"Okay, "Riley said not looking away from the boy.
Girl, you got it bad., Vicky rolled her eyes and walked off.

it's alright *grin* so, when should we encounter Ax? ~*~*~*~ Everyone got back together a little earlier than an hour, but they now had quite a few forms to turn into should anything happen soon. They started to head out from the zoo.
"I can't believe this is happening, you know?" Riley said. "I mean, just yesterday I was worried about flunking my history test and now, all of a sudden, an alien race is starting to take over our planet."
"It is a little far-fetched," Cassie agreed as she locked the gate behind them. "But what if that Andalite never gave us the power to morph? What defense would we have against them?"
"Not getting a Yeerk in our head?" Marco drawled. Everyone was silent at that remark. "What? I was trying to be funny."
"It's not funny when you think about it, Marco," said Jake sternly. He then sighed. "I think someone should scope out the Sharing, see if they have anything to do with Yeerks."
"I can," Riley said. "I have nothing else to do tomorrow after school and I kinda thought it would be cool to look into."
"I can go too," Rachel replied. "Besides, Melissa Chapman sounded interested in it too." (AN: I forgot if she was a part of it or not. I am just gonna say that she was interested in checking it out)
"Okay, so Riley and Rachel will check the Sharing out tomorrow and report back the next day at my place."
"Where do you guys live anyway?" Cassie asked the two girls.
"I am in walking distance from the school, off of Brooke Road." Riley replied.
Vicky looked up from her shoes. "I live on the far west side, near the mall. My street is Westchester Street."
"Okay. I can have my brother, Tom, drop you off afterward. You live near Cassie's place anyway. So, I'll see you at my place after tomorrow."
Everyone started to go their own seperate ways. Tobias jogged up to Riley.
"I live near you," he said.
"Really?" She smiled. "I never noticed the moving van."
"You wouldn't because I live a few streets down, on Kettle St. We used the main road to get down here."
"I see."
Most of the walk was spent in silence. They were mostly lost in their thoughts, especially about what had happened the night before. What if they couldn't fight off the Yeerks? What would happen if they won? Are there more alliances out there, around the world? ~*~*~*~

Oh, yes please! ~*~
Vicky didn’t mind walking by herself; she was used to it by now. It was a little scary walking alone though, thoughts of the aliens kept introding on her thoughts. Of course the things her mom had started rambling before she was put in the asylum started to make sence. Something about the oatmeal she had served that day a year ago had triggered her mom's break down. When the men were taking her she had screamed it was all her fault...
"Stop thinking about that shit," Vicky muttered to her self. "It doesn't matter anymore."
Vicky looked up at the sky and watched a shooting star fly across the sky.
~*~
Riley stood by her locker holding her books in her hands. She had gotten comforting looks from the other kids. She knew she wouldn't be alone in the sharing but she couldn't stop the fear in her body.
"You okay?" Vicky asked as she went to her own locker opening it up.
"Not really." Riley said looking around the hallway.
"You could sneak in," Vicky said shoving her books in her locker. "Fly on the wall kinda thing."
"...You think that would work?" Riley asked raising an eyebrow.
"Might," Vicky said shutting her locker and slipping a piece of paper into Riley's hand. "That's my cell. Call if you need anything."
"Thank you," Riley smiled.
"Not a big deal," Vicky shrugged walking past Riley.

I think we should encounter Ax pretty soon. ~*~*~*~ Riley met Rachel out by the front of the school and together they followed the signs that pointed them to where the Sharing met after school.
After a few directions from teachers, the two girls finally found what looked like to be a clubhouse just behind the school building. A large white sign confirmed that the Sharing met inside.
"Let's say that we were curious about the Sharing and would like to see what it's like before we join," Rachel said. "Do you have a form to use to spy in on anything that is suspicious?"
Riley nodded. "Yeah. During history I found a fly on my desk. I managed to get it before it died."
"Okay. Why don't you go ahead and change while I go in. Put your stuff into the bushes or something."
While Rachel went inside, Riley went around and found a shed that the wood-building class was making. She scrambled inside, locked it, and transformed, but not after taking off her clothes and stuffing them into her bag. ~*~*~* "Rachel! Glad you could make it!"
Rachel smiled at Melissa. "Hey. I am just here to see what it's like."
"I believe you will like it," a voice said from behind her. She whirled around. "Feel free to ask any of our members about the club. I do hope you will join us someday." The boy walked away.
"So," Rachel began, sitting down next to her friend, "what's it like?" ~*~*~*~ Riley squeezed herself out through a crack in the shed and flew into the clubhouse by the window. She tried to stay as near the ceiling as possible, knowing that if she was spotted that she would met an untimely death.
As she moved along, she noticed that some of the older members were heading into a room off of the main room where couches and chairs were set up. Riley managed to get into the room before the door shut.
"Is it ready?"
"Yes," a female spoke up. "Anyone who wants to become a full member of the Sharing will be controlled."
"Good. Then we can tell Prinicipal Chapman as soon as possible that it is ready."
Hold up. The prinicipal is a Controller? That is not good at all, Riley thought. That will be interesting to tell the others.
"But what if the Andalites realize what we are about to do and mess everything up?"
Riley found a spot to rest on the metal table that could get her closer to the action. What she didn't expect was a hand to slam down on her.
"We'll squash them like bugs." ~*~*~* and that was a direct quote from the Animorphs TV series.

Riley flew out of the back room, happy to be away from where the controllers had been dicussing the night events. She had learned where they kept a pool and that they held humans there. She wanted to tell the others, let Rachel know she was done and they could go.
~*~
Vicky sat on the bench near school, smoking as she always did when she was thinking. The dreams she'd been having of something being trapped in the ocean bothered her. She wasn't one to listen to her dreams, they were just her mind working overtime but she couldn't shake the feeling she should mention it to the others.

Cassie was sitting in her History class when she felt someone calling out for help. Her vision suddenly changed from being in the classroom to the deep blue of the ocean waters. She felt like struggling and swimming to the surface, but she realized that she really wasn't in the water.
<I have.... crash-landed...if anyone...Aximili...>
The thoughtspeak was all scrambled so Cassie couldn't make heads nor tails of it. And just as soon as vision came, it went. She found herself back in her classroom. ~*~*~*~ "You had it too?" Vicky exclaimed.
"I did too," Tobias said quietly.
The group met at Jake's house the next day, this time talking about the vision that plagued Cassie, Vicky, and Tobias.
"Funny, I had no visions of being at the beach," Marco said. "Then again... I did imagine myself on the beach with a girl..."
"Snap out of it, Marco," Rachel growled. "This is serious!"
"Maybe it's a call for help," Riley said. "I mean, I know it is a call for help." She hesitated. "Did you at least get a glimpse of who or what was calling out?"
"No, but it talked to us in our heads," Cassie replied.
"Could be an Andalite," Jake said, rubbing his chin. "Did any of you recognize what beach it was?"
(Yeah, I know I am confusing you all. I was thinking that he didn't crash in an ocean at all.. probably near Lake Superior)
"Not really," Tobias said, his head hanging. Riley put a hand on his arm and they both shuddered at the little shock of energy that passed through them. ~*~*~*~

Riley looked at tobias who looked right back him. She wanted to ask if he'd felt the same thing she had. It made her entire body hum with somekind of energy she didn't understand.
"...I don't know if it means anything to anyone else but saw this really wierd rock formation on the beach." Vicky said digging into the pockets of the large pants she was waering.
"Wierd rocks? That'll narrow it down," Marco said rolling his eyes.
"Shut up." Jake said glaring at the other boy who shrugged his shoulders.
"Here," Vicky pulled out a folded piece of paper handing it to Cassie.
"I've been here." Cassie said pointing to the rocks. "This is a really good sketch."
"Whatever." Vicky shrugs.
"...we should go there." Riley said. "what if they are in trouble?"
"Its sorta far," Cassie said frowning.
"I can get a car," Vicky muttered.
"You have your liceance?" Rachel asked arching an eyebrow.
"No, I just said I can get a car." Vicky said.
"Um...aren't we able to morph into birds?" Tobias asked.
"I was just about to say that!" Riley giggled.

~*~*~* The next day, Cassie had them visit the zoo again, this time taking DNA from dolphins. They arrived back at Cassie's barn for more instructions.
"We'll fly out using our bird forms then we'll become dolphins," Jake said. "Also, wear skin-tight clothing. Cassie and I found out that you can transform back and have clothing on if only it is very tight."
"I bet Jake loved that," Vicky whispered to Riley, who giggled.
"Tomorrow after school, meet up by the front entrance and we'll find a place to morph." ~*~*~*~ Next Day ~*~*~*~ Riley had gotten out of class early and she was waiting by the front entrance to the school. Underneath her normal clothing she had found a leotard she used to wear a few years ago when she had her final ice-skating show. Her senior piece was fun to choreograph and the audience loved it.
"You're out early," Tobias' voice said from behind her.
"And so are you." She turned around and smiled.
"Class got out early. I swear it was a blessing in disguise."
Riley giggled. "I bet."
"I have already tried out my hawk form. It is amazing. I especially love to ride the thermals."
"They are amazing, aren't they? It just makes you wish that we didn't have the two-hour time limit, huh?"
Tobias nodded. "Yes, exactly. Have you tried out your form yet?"
She nodded. "Yeah. Much cooler than a parakeet."
He reached out and touched her hair. "I bet it was."
"Hey lovebirds!"
Riley jumped and Tobias withdrew his hand, aiming a glare at Marco. He was so close too.
"Ready to have some fun?" He swung an arm around each of them, smiling widely.
"Sure," Riley replied, stepping away from him. ~*~*~*~
