Ate was the youngest of four children. Not that it bothered her too much most of the time. It was alright being "The baby" of the family most days...except today. Today she was starting High School, the same school her entire family had gone too. The same school with all three of her siblings were going to be. The same school were they were all known for their abilities. And then there was Ate.
"God, this year is going to blow." Pan muttered from the seat next to her looking down at her black nails as her black spiderweb looking wings flapped irritatedly.
"Ooh, why?" Set asked leaning across Ate's head as her rainbow wings flipped happily. "Because our little baby is comin' with us?"
"Like I need another baby to bother me." Pan crossed her arms glaring down at Ate.
"I'm not a baby." Ate replied as her head shrunk slightly under Set's weight.
"You're Freshmeat." Loki replied from the front seat looking back at his sisters smirking widely as his dragonfly wings stayed perfectly still.
"Leave your sister alone." Mab scolded from the front seat keeping her own butterfly wings hidden.
"What? I didn't say anything." Loki winked at Ate playfully before turning around to look at the school building looming in the distance.
"It's her first year. Try to go easy on her, will you three?" Mab lowered her dark sunglasses glaring at Pan.
"Don't worry, mom. If she's a Greenplant like the rest of us-" Set grinned pinching Ate's cheek happily. "I'll make sure she doesn't get eaten."
"No one eats people!" Ate's voice wavered slightly as she looked around the car.
"Not on the first day, anyways." Pan remarked wiggling her eyebrows.
"Pan." Mab shook her head as she parked the car in front of the main building. Ate watched as her sibling's wings seemed to crawl into their backs slowly as they came into view of others.
"They don't eat people, do they?" Ate demeaned.
"Don't be a baby, Ate." Pan rolled her eyes as she pushed open the door to the car.
"It'll be all good, Ate." Set grinned kissing her on the top of the head racing after Pan as they both walked into the front of the school. Ate looked after her two sisters and couldn't make herself move from the backseat.
"Would you mind showing Ate around, Loki?" Mab asked looking at Ate frowning slightly.
"Mom, she's fourteen years old." Loki rolled his eyes. "Really want to pinpoint her weakness her first day?"
"I'll be fine." Ate said nibbling on her thumb nail nervously.
"See? Perfect." Loki winked at his mother before walking out of the car like he owned the school. Ate watched as some of the girls being dropped off stopped and stared at him as if he was god's gift.
"Ate, honey." Mab turned around placing her hand on Ate's shoulder softly.
"Yeah mom?" Ate asked quietly.
"You know both your father and I love you." Mab smiled slightly.
"Dad gave me the speech about the clans already." Ate said blushing slightly.
"Well, we don't care which clan you go into." Mab squeezed her shoulder. "As long as you don't hide who you are, alright? No matter what Pan says you are perfectly fine, understand?"
"Yes, mom." Ate nodded scooting out of the car standing near the curb. "I love you."
"Write me everyday, alright?" Mab winked starting the car driving away from the curb. Ate stood at the curb looking at the other kids her age being dropped off and hugged herself slightly.

Cayden "Cade" Pryce sighed as she looked up at the school... she was here. Finally she was here so why the hell wasn't she more excited? Her parents had dropped her off.... an hour or so ago. Mother dearest had an exibition or something and dragged her dad with... oh well. He had given her the new laptop(behind her mother's back) to stay in contact with him, it was one of those thin as all hell viaos or something like that...
She had been sitting on her army duffel bag filled with her clothes since she had gotten here. The rest was hidden inside her backpack... one bonus about having family that had been here her oldest cousin Kathrin had shrunk the rest of her stuff to fit in her backpack. All she had to do was sprinkle the potion she had given her on her stuff to make it grow back to it's normal size. Her father had come here, he was a Redwing, not a typical one but close enough, he was more or less a... vegetarian was the best way to put it. he stayed away from human blood. Her mother... was well a civie (cilvilian). She had gone to a normal high school.
Cade sighed and flopped backwards onto her back on the grass her legs still on the duffel, looking up at the sky. Her father's side of the family had speckled the clans of Moon Lake. Cade had hoped to get into either Redwing like her father or purplesmoke... Only Kathrin had gotten in so far, she was like a sister to Cade so getting in would be amazing.

good posts, ladies. My turn, though my brain is pretty much exhausted from writing some of my ff fanfics. ---------------- Kelsey Hamilton watched as her parents drive off toward the dorms where the students were to say during the four years they were at Moon Lake High. Since she was from Iowa, she had never heard of the school. Her father, Rick, had learned of it through one of his fellow cops. Her parents got her enrolled in the school and she was excited. She loved school and learning, unlike her older brother. He loved adventure. That's why he was in Europe, taking art classes.
She sighed and hitched her bag up higher on her shoulder. The freshman assembly didn't start for another two hours. Kelsey figured that she could do some exploring of the school. ------------ Mitchell Blacktooth soaked up the rays of sun, sunglasses protecting his sensitive eyes. He loved being a fire demon. He could stay out in the sun all he wanted, get a perfect tan, and never have to worry about sunscreen.
"Hey Mitch!"
He pushed himself up a little so he could see his fellow Blacktooth friends come running up to him.
"Hey guys. How was summer break for ya?" he asked, grinning, showing off his sharpened canines.
Mitch listened to his friends until he noticed something walking toward the school. He eyed the girl, who was obviously a freshman. She had shoulder-length brown hair that was lightly sprinkled with blonde highlights. She wasn't close enough for him to make out any features but she wore a cute white skirt that was about mid-thigh in length and she had a blue top that had a scooped neckline, barely touching her lovely...
"MITCH!"
He snapped out of his daze and turned toward his friends, who were glaring at him through their red eyes.
"Dude! Were you even listening?" Quinn Blacktooth was saying.
Mitch glanced back at the brick building that was the school and he couldn't see the freshman anymore. Grumbling to himself, he shook his head. "No. I was.... distracted."
"You? Distracted?" Henry asked, looking shocked. "Since when have you been distracted, mate?" The English demon glanced around at the others. "There have been many opportunities for you to become distracted and you never once strayed."
"I know, I know, but..." He tried to find her again.
"Is our Mitch finally interested in girls?" Quinn teased.
"Shut up, all of you," Mitch growled as the other Blacktooth boys laughed. ------------------

Vince smiled seeing the high school, the summer had been long... a little to long, mostly because Carlilse was flaunting around his chest puffed up in pride that it was his senior year. He loved his brother to death really but THIS was to much. His brother had needed to get here early for welcoming people, gotta love being the younger brother of the quaterback... He had already thrown his stuff in the Redwing dorms and had gone back outside to sit and check out the new students
Since freshman year when he got into Redwing his family more or less treated him different... the rest of his family had gotten into purplesmoke so when he got into Redwing they were more or less well.... shocked.... thank god for Carlisle or he more than likely would've been sacraliged.
About an hour when everyone started showing up there was one girl in particular that caught his eye. It was more than likely it was the blue highlights in her hair but everything else about her. She carried herself less scared than the other freshmen. ~*~ some one can finish if they want

Well, if you made it clear which gender Vince was that'd help. ^^ You may want to switch those 'she's to 'he's.

Ate suddenly wished she had clung onto Loki when her mother had suggested him showing her around. She wasn't normally shy but the thought of what clan she would go into was driving her almost into a panic attack. She had to be in Greenplant, she had to be. Ever since Loki had gone to school she'd waited four long years to get her wings, she wanted, no needed to have them. True her father had been a Bluesky and entirely lacked wings and seemed perfectly happy with his life married to her mom. If Ate thought about it she probably should feel guilty for not wanting to embrace her father's part but...
“Wings.” Ate sighed dreamily pausing slightly.
“Did you say something?” Ate went bright red looking around to see a girl around her age look at her tilting her head slightly.
“Ah...maybe?” Ate smiled nervously at the girl with shoulder-length brown hair with blonde streaks in it.
“Did you say...Wings?” The girl looked confused and it struck Ate that not everyone knew about the clans.
“Yes.” Ate nodded cheerfully.
“...Why?”
“Why not?” Ate suggested stepping forward extending her hand. “I'm Ate by the way.”
“Nice to met you,” The girl repeated shaking her hand slowly. “I'm Kelsey.”
“Pleasure.” Ate smiled widely. “So you're a freshmen too?”
~*~
"So if you were concerned about keeping your crown as Queen Bitch I think it's still yours, sissy." Set said smiling bravely at Pan who glared death at her.
"You're only allowed to walk with me when your not talking, Set." Pan growled heading down towards the Greenplant dorms.
"Ate thinks your going to gut her like a fish, you know." Set said completely ignoring Pan as she clutched a notebook to her chest. "I tried explaining that you don't mean it..."
"If your so concerned with Baby's well being why don't you babysit her?" Pan said pulling on Set's pigtail roughly.
"She needs to experience somethings for herself, character building stuff." Set said wincing slightly as Pan tugged again. "Like what you did to me last year but I'll be willing to give sneak hug attacks."
"It's official, I'm adopted." Pan rolled her eyes letting go of Set's hair.
"Would explain the Spooky-pants gene, wouldn't it?" Set said happily spinning in a circle.
"Set?" Pan sighed inwardly as Set jumped suddenly whirling around nearly knocking her down.
"Nate!" Set cheered running forward tackling the shorter boy to the ground with a force that knocked them both to the ground as the other boy with short green hair laughed hysterically.
"Shut up Leon." Nate muttered as Set hugged him tightly as his white hair hung in his eyes slightly.
"I missed you guys sooo much! How was your summer? Anything interesting happen?" Set asked snuggling against Nate's shoulder like a kitten, Pan rolled her eyes watching the public display.
"Nate grew an inch." Leon offered snickering as Nate glared daggers at him. "I on the other hand beat the newest Final Fantasy game."
"Oooh, really?" Set asked getting up off of Nate and hugging Leon happily.
"God, kill me now." Pan muttered darkly.
"Anything interesting happen to you?" Nate asked getting up off the ground brushing himself off.
"My little sis is a starting school now." Set offered still hugging Leon who rolled his eyes patting her on the head. "Other then that I don't think-"
"She got breasts." Pan called helpfully as she watched all three freeze for a moment. This was the sort of thing that filled Pan's heart with glee. Set and her little pals were always good for a laugh.
"Huh," Set was the first to react stepping back and looking down at her chest through her tank top. "I guess I did, didn't I?"
"...um.” Nate's face went a delicious shade of red as Leon looked like he would never breath again.
“Not that I'd say its a vast improvement, but better then last year, right?” Set asked smiling at her two friends.
“Not really something as a male we can comment on.” Leon said looking at Nate who nodded slowly looking very much like fainting.
“Really?” Set asked looking slightly confused as she looked up from her chest. “It never mattered before...”
“Er, well its...” Leon looked over at Nate who looked at him nervously. “Help me out here, Purplesmoke.”
“...You look nice.” Nate said softly as Set grinned and hugged him tightly causing Nate's entire body to turn bright red.
“My work here is done,” Pan muttered turning on her heel and marching off to the dorms.
~*~
Loki didn't need to look around him to know he was being stared at. Loki was used to being stared at, not that he was self centered, he just had a healthy love of himself. It wasn't as if he went out of his way to get attention, it just found him.
“You're going to cause some hapless parent to drive into a post one of these days, Greenplant.” Loki raised an eyebrow as Matt walked next to him a string wrapped in cat's cradle in his hands. He had a large black hood sweatshirt pulled down to cover his eyes that was always kept on the first day.
“At least they'll die happy, wont they?” Loki said spinning slightly as a few sophomore girls tripped over themselves.
“Do you really have to flaunt your self like that?” Matt asked not looking over at Loki as he continued to fiddle with the string wrapped around his fingers. “Is there anyone not related to you in this school you haven't hit on?”
“The new arrivals.” Loki asked looking slightly thoughtful as he walked backwards waving at the girls smiling.
“It's only a matter of time before you molest the Fresh meat.” Matt grumbled sliding on of the strings out of the mess.
“When you say it like that I sound like a whore.” Loki pouted slightly turning around putting his arms behind his head.
“You are a whore, Loki. You've hit on everyone.” Matt said rearranging the string in his hands. “...Except me.”
“You're my best friend.” Loki shrugged his shoulders as if that explained everything. He winked at a passing teacher who dropped their papers.
“Right,” Matt said coughing slightly pulling the string tightly only to cause a large knot to form.
“Why do you insist on wearing this hood anyways?” Loki asked pulling on it slightly as Matt glared trying to untangle the string.
“You know why-”
“I doubt anyone is going to notice your cat ears.” Loki rolled his eyes. “I really don't understand why they can't fit that so you can go with out them some days.”
“If I was self conscious this conversation would add to the debt you owe me for therapy.” Matt remarked bitterly.
"What else do I owe you therapy for?" Loki asked looking puzzled.
"How much time do we have?" Matt muttered.

it's alright. My turn ^^ Allie, in case I didn't tell you (Patty knows since she and I chatted about this), once you get into a clan, the clan name takes over your last name until you leave the school. Since I am not sure if we are at the freshmen gathering or not, I'll get it started. I'll do the majority of it, since I am the mastermind of Moon Lake High. ^^ ------------ Kelsey and Ate made their way toward the auditorium for the freshman meeting, though it was more Ate showing the way and Kelsey following. Kelsey was trying to figure out the smaller girl, who was skipping happily down the halls. Why did Ate mention wings? Was she dreaming, perhaps, and forgot there were students filing in all around?
"Here we are," Ate practically sang as they approached a hall with several double doors leading into the auditorium. "My sisters and brother were here before me, so I know the way around this school. Besides, they were the ones who drilled the layout into my head so I wouldn't get lost."
"I have an older brother but he's over in Europe, studying art and taking art classes. My family and I recently moved to Minnesota. We're from Iowa, see. We lived on a farm and we grew crops and took care of the animals on the farm."
"Sounds nice," Ate replied as they entered the auditorium.
It shocked Kelsey how large the auditorium was. All the seats were like those you see at stadiums, raised so the person in front of you didn't block your line of vision. The seats looked comfortable and were a dark blue color. The auditorium looked as though it could seat a thousand (and Kelsey thought it could).
A large modern stage rested at the front, the floor looking like black glass. A wooden podium stood right in the middle and right now, no one stood behind it.
"Let's find our seats, shall we?" Ate asked, jerking Kelsey from her observation.
"Sure," she replied, still eyeing the beautiful stage. --------------- "What classes do you think you'll have this year?" Quinn asked Mitch, who was eyeing all the new freshman entering the school.
"Whatever Counselor Pattersen gives me," Mitch replied. "She might be giving me my Element class, since I'm a junior this year."
"Have you discovered your Element yet?" Alan asked, looking eager. "Mine's ice."
"Fitting, really. It shows your icy personality you project to others," Henry murmured.
Since demons also have sharpened senses, Alan heard Henry's comment and he glared at the other demon. "Just because you are also a senior this year, that does not mean you can make comments like that."
"Whatever. It's the truth, though." Henry stood up, stretched. "I'm going to head to my dorm, since it's gonna be awhile til the senior assembly." He walked off, his black trench coat whipping in the breeze.
"I don't understand why he wears that thing," Alan said, shaking his head. "It's like 80 degrees out and he still wears that coat."
"It's his trademark," Quinn replied, stretching out on his back on the grass. "And don't take his comment to heart, Alan. If anyone has a icy heart, it's him."
"I could see him taking the path several of our kind take," Mitch said, sounding worried. "He's just as unfeeling as they are. It's like he's welcoming, embracing the Darkness with open arms."
Quinn snorted. "Mitch, have you seen what his parents are like? They're coldhearted bastards. They never paid attention to him and basically shunned him when he went to this school and got sorted into the Blacktooth clan."
"But they're human. Humans tend to shun us when they find out what kind of school their children attend."
"True," Alan murmured. -------------- "Welcome, new students, to Moon Lake High," the principal, Howard Gretinger, said, smiling. "On behalf of the staff, we hope that you will enjoy your four years here. As you have been told, you will be staying the majority of your time here, on dorms and in school. We only have breaks for Christmas and one month break for summer. No student is allowed off campus without permission from your counselor.
"Also, as you might or might not have heard, we have eight different clans that serve as families within the school. Each clan has their own good points, so don't think you are being sorted into a bad clan. After this assembly, you will be sorted into your clan and have your physical to make sure you are in good shape. Your classes will start next week, so you can get adjusted to dorm life. The upperclassmen will be your role models and guides, so use them if you need to. Your class schedule will be given to you after you have been sorted, so don't worry about not knowing where your classes are."
Kelsey paid close attention as Principal Gretinger went over the rules of Moon Lake High. She always followed the rules. Beside her, Ate rolled her eyes and she drummed her fingernails on the armrest of her chair.
"This is boring," she said. "My brother and sisters told me all this already."
"A copy of the rules are also in the booklet you will be receiving with all your imporant documents as well," the principal said, as if he knew most of the students had slept through his speech. "Finally, before I end this assembly, I want to warn you about something very important. While you are here, there may be some unsavory people both inside and outside the school. I beg you pay them no heed and ignore them. You are in good hands here at Moon Lake High. With that said, I wish you a great year and come to me if you have any questions."
The freshmen applauded and started to exit out the doors.
"Ooh! I cannot wait to be sorted!" Ate chirped happily. She accidently bumped into a girl who had dark, blue-streaked hair. "Sorry!"
"It's alright. Do you know what clan you'll be in?" she asked, looking intrigued.
"I am hoping for Greenplant. What about you?"
The girl shrugged. "Purplesmoke or Redwing, though I'll probably go into Purplesmoke." She glanced over at Kelsey. "What about you?"
Kelsey flushed. It was apparent she was one of the few who didn't know the clans. "I don't know the names of the clans. I'm not from around here."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"It's alright. I'm Kelsey, the way, and this is Ate."
"I'm Cayden, but call me Cade."
The three shook hands and followed the freshmen down to the health wing to be sorted and to have a physical. As they did, they passed several upperclassmen who were scattered around the halls. Kelsey nearly ran into a wall when she caught sight of a student who had a long lizard-like tail and his skin had scales.
"W-what is that?" she blurted.
Cade and Ate didn't seem to be fazed. "Oh! That must be a kid from the Bluesky clan," Ate said, smiling. "Nice scales!" she called and the kid smiles.
"Thankss," he replied and Kelsey yelped when she saw his long, thin tongue flit out.
"What kind of school is this?" she asked faintly. "That is not normal."
The other two girls looked uncomfortable. "Erm, ask your counselor or an adult to explain it," Cade said slowly.
As they continued their way, Kelsey passed other students who looked different than the lizard boy, but seemed inhuman. She even saw a demon (though, she admitted, he was goodlooking).
"Here we are," Ate announced in her singsong voice again.
The health wing reminded Kelsey of a hospital. It even had that smell of a hospital, of antiseptic.
A woman dressed up in a gray suit greeted them and introduced herself as Nurse Gretchen Ramsey. She pulled out a list from a file folder and called the first name. "Aleysha Armstrong." A tall, skinny black girl stepped up and Nurse Ramsey gestured her into a room to the nurse's left.
"Are we doing this alphabetically?" Ate grumbled.
"I hope not," Cade agreed.
"Kelsey Hamilton."
Kelsey jumped when her name was mentioned after Aleysha's. Gulping, she went into the room next to Aleysha's. A man greeted her from a desk.
"Hello Kelsey. My name is Wayne Michaels. I'll be here to ask you some questions and to sort you. Then we'll get on with your physical." He opened a folder that had a picture of her clipped on the front. Then Mr. Michaels slid a pen out of his labcoat pocket. "Can you tell me how old you are, where you were born, and where you stay now?" -------------- It seemed to take forever for Mr. Michaels to be done. Kelsey's brain felt as though it had been thoroughly picked at.
"We're done with the worst part." Mr. Michaels smiled. "Please stay in this room. A doctor will be coming in soon. Oh, and your clan is Silverback. Congrats." He took her folder with him as he left. He closed the door behind him, leaving Kelsey alone in the white room.
It didn't take long for another man in a white labcoat entered, knocking on her door.
He was much better looking than Mr. Michaels, who was a little pudgy. His nametag revealed his name to be Randall Larson.
"Hello Kelsey. I'm Dr. Randall Larson and I'll be doing your physical." He wheeled in a cart full of what looked like several instruments that could torture her. He set a folder down on the desk and he approached her, smiling gently. "So, I hear you were sorted into the Silverback clan. The Silverbacks are a good bunch of people and I think you'll fit in nicely. Before I do your physical, I need to give you a shot. This shot will protect you from most of the nastier diseases that float around this school."
Kelsey nodded and tried not to watch as Dr. Larson prepped the syringe that would be piercing through her skin. She forced her right arm to relax as he took an alcohol-filled cottom ball and swabbed her upper arm. She looked away when he told her that he was going to inject the solution into her arm. Kelsey was happy when she barely felt the needle going into her arm, but she felt pain when the solution filled her veins.
"It does burn a little at first and the next couple days will be very uncomfortable, but it will go away." He put a bandage (a regular one, thank God) on the injection site. "Next, I will be doing a routine physical on you, including a pap smear. So, just relax and follow my orders and you'll be fine." --------------- whew... that was a long one. But at least I got it done and you guys can follow the same format. Or do more if you so wish.

As soon as Kelsey was out of ear shot Ate saw Cade turn on her. Ate flinched slightly. She had hoped she'd get called before the other girl could grill her for information.
"Did you know she was from the Other Side?" Cade whispered urgently.
"...Had a feeling." Ate shrugged her shoulders slightly.
"Could have given me some warning, don't you think?" Cade asked raising an eyebrow.
"Thought not knowing about the clans made it clear." Ate said nibbling on her thumb nail as Kelsey was lead into another room. She hoped, silently, that she'd be alright. She'd heard how some 'normal' people didn't do well at first. She wished desperately Kelsey wouldn't be like that, she liked her.
"It's not that I care if Kelsey didn't know just would have acted a bit more shocked about things..." Cade sighed slightly looking after Kelsey as well. "Hope she takes the change alright."
"Me too." Ate suddenly felt like she was being watched and turned her head slightly to see Set and two boys by the entrance. She felt her entire face heat up as Set waved happily. "Oh, balls."
"Hm?" Cade turned around looking over towards the door as well. "Whose that?"
"Set." Ate replied waving back slightly.
"Older sister?" Cade guessed softly.
"Uh huh." Ate nodded.
"Ate Stillfolk?" The nurse called causing Ate to jump walking forward slowly.
"We believe in you Baby!" Ate heard Set and her two friends call from the doorway causing her to go bright red hurrying towards the door to get away from the stares.
"Set Greenplant, get out of here!" She heard the nurse scold angrily as Ate closed the door behind her.
"I'm Doctor Emily Studt." Ate turned to see a women who looked oddly young to be a doctor sitting behind the desk smiling slightly. "Are you alright, Ate?"
"...My sister-"
"Set, I see." Dr. Studt nodded motioning to the chair in front of her. "I've had the pleasure of sorting all your siblings thus far."
"Oh." Ate nodded looking down at her hands as she sat in front of the desk.
"So are you ready for me to begin?" Dr. Studt asked softly.
"As I'll ever be, I guess." Ate said looking up at the doctor slowly.
"Very good," Dr. Studt smiled. "Now lets start with the easy questions..."
**********
Ate had always heard that the sorting made people feel drained. But Dr. Studt made her feel oddly at ease. Ate had babbled on a couple answers but The doctor hadn't laughed at her once.
"Well, I'm pretty sure I know which clan you'll go into, little Ate." Dr. Studt smiled happily at her. "Very interesting results if you ask me,"
"Interesting...I don't want interesting." Ate nibbled on her thumb nail.
"Not to worry, little Ate." Dr. Studt reached over and ruffled her hair. "You'll be in the Greenplant dorm with your siblings."
"Really?!" Ate smiled warmly. "So I'll get my wings?"
"Mm," Dr. Studt winked at Ate. "That'd be cheating for me to tell you, wouldn't it?"
"Please?" Ate begged putting on her best puppy dog eyes that always seemed to work with her parents.
"You're so cute." Dr. Studt smiled. "But you can't say that I told youy, alright?"
"I wont." Ate crossed her heart with her fingers.
"Good." Dr. Studt smiled as the back door popped open slightly to show another young looking feamle doctor who smiled friendily. "Ah, Doctor Scott."
"Are you done already, Emily?" Doctor scott asked brushing her firey red hair out of her face.
"This is little Ate Stillfolk." Dr. Studt said getting up from the chair patting Ate on the head. "Or should I say Greenplant?"
"Ooh, that's fantastic." Dr. Scott grinned at Ate doing a thumbs up. "You'll be with your family, wont you?"
"Uh huh." Ate nodded.
"Do you have everything for her exam?" Dr. Studt asked walking over to the cart that Dr. Scott had.
"Well, I believe I do." Dr. Scott touched Dr. Studt's arm softly. Ate couldn't shake the feeling that they were having a privet conversation inbetween the lines as Dr. Studt nodded her head solemly and pointed to something on the cart. "You sure?"
"I am." Dr. Studt turned and smiled at Ate. "Be a good girl for Doctor Scoot, will you?"
"Will I get candy?" Ate asked playing up her young age a bit.
"Oh, I like her." Doctor Scott smiled widely as Dr. Studt walked out of the room. "You know all about how the shots feel, don't you?"
"Yeah." Ate said nodding rolling up her shirt to show her arm.
"You are prepared, aren't you?" Dr. Scott smiled pulling out a needle and looking at it thoughtfully. "This will only sting for a moment, alright?"
~*~ Hate shots, can't write them so just know she got it, yeah? ^^

Mitch nearly slept through the assembly, as they were just repeating everything that was said about last year. Quinn had nudged him awake and the group made their way toward their dorm. They had just passed the health wing when Mitch got an idea.
"Wait here," he said to his friends and he walked toward the front desk. He peered around the corner and didn't see any of the freshmen out in the hall.
"Yes?" the secretary asked, her voice a little miffed that he had forgotten her.
"Can you tell me what clan this one girl got into?"
"Do you know her name?"
"No, but she had brown hair with blonde highlights, about yay tall."
The secretary sniffed but typed something in to the computer. "She's in the Silverback clan."
Mitch smiled. "Thanks." ------------- Kelsey felt sore by the time she was released from the health wing. Dr. Larson had given her the directions to her dorm as well as talking to her. She revealed that she didn't know about the school and he looked appalled. He then told her everything, especially about the clans.
Her mind whirled with the information she was just given. Moon Lake High was not a normal high school, but a school for supernatural kids. She never even knew her parents had anything to do with that kind of stuff. (A/N: Which they don't)
She exited the main school building and finally found another brick building that had a picture of several animals leaping over a silver ring. Kelsey took in a breath and entered the building.
The main entrance hall was gorgeous. The walls were done in a beautiful silver color with the floor and ceiling edges done in white. The floor was a dark wood and had lush rugs scattered all over.
"You must be Kelsey," said a deep voice from her left.
Kelsey jumped and whirled around to face a tall gorgeous guy. He wore a basic white tank-top with gray shorts but the clothes seemed to accentuate his muscular figure. The guy's hair was dark and thick, mused all over the place. His eyes were a beautiful green color.
"Yes, I am."
He smiled, revealing straight white teeth. "Good. My name is Taylor, a fellow Silverback. Welcome to your new home for the next four years. Why don't we wait in the main waiting room to see if anyone else got sorted into our clan?"
Kelsey let Taylor lead her to another silver-painted room that had furniture done in off-white colors and the pillows were a light blue.
"How long have you been here?" Kelsey asked, looking at her fellow Silverback.
"I'm a junior, just starting my full year as a full Silverback."
"Full?"
He glanced at her before looking back out the window. "Next year is when the changes happen. The classes change so that you get the basics. Junior year is when they give you the classes that pertain to your clan. For our clan, we are the shapeshifters, able to change into anyone and anything. We can even change into inanimate things, which makes us the perfect spies."
"Is that what the majority of our clan goes into after school?"
"No, but it is the ideal job. We get jobs anywhere." Taylor glanced down at his watch and back out the window. "I don't think anyone else is coming, so I'll show you around our penthouse and show you your room and we can do anything else you want."
Kelsey got up and followed the older Silverback around. She was shown the main floor, which had a nice dining area (Taylor explained that they ate breakfast and dinner in the clan houses and lunch in school). The next place she was shown was the living and game room. It had every game system imaginable with almost every game, had a large big-screen TV with cable and a VHS-DVD player. Taylor explained that they also had every movie possible and that all you had to do was call the main building and say the title and what clan you were in and they would instantly play it (just like with video games). The main floor also had a beautiful study/library for students to use.
Taylor led her upstairs, where all the students lived. He introduced her if there were any students in the hall. He also explained the nickname system they used.
"Each clan does it too, but we do it more than others," he said. "Helen here is nicknamed Squirrel because she turned into a squirrel when she first transformed during her change."
Squirrel blushed. "What can I say? Squirrels are rather cute."
"What is your nickname, Taylor?" Kelsey asked.
Taylor looked embarrassed and Squirrel laughed. "Stallion," he murmured.
Kelsey was confused. "Why are you embarrassed by that?"
"It's now why, but how," Squirrel corrected. "He was in the middle of flirting with some girls from Bluesky when he changed. They found it hilarious and kept teasing him about it."
"The whole school knows it, too," Taylor replied, trying to wipe the blush on his face. "Now, let's press on. You'll see Squirrel around."
"Have fun Kelsey!" Squirrel called.
"We have two divisions of Silverback: the girls and the guys. Since I am your guide for the month, I am able to come into your division and into your room, but no one else gets that privilege."
The walls were still done in silver but also there were pictures of animals and people along the walls.
"Here we are," Taylor said. "Room number 54. You will have the room all to yourself for the next four years, since no one else joined you in our clan. Go ahead and try to open the door with your key."
It took her two tries to get it and she gasped as she caught sight of the room. The walls, as usual, were in silver but the carpet was a bright white. The room seemed more like an apartment than a room at all. It had a sitting area, a small kitchenette ("For your own snacks and drinks that you can buy when you go on trips," Taylor explained), a beautiful modern bathroom with whirlpool jets in the bathtub, and a nice spacious bedroom with an even spacious closet.
"It's beautiful," she whispered.
"Yeah. The girls' rooms are much better than ours, but that's because ladies deserve better." He winked at her.
"Are you flirting with me?" she asked teasingly.
"I might be. What do you think?"
They were silent before they started laughing.
"It wouldn't work out anyway because a) guides are not supposed to date or fall in love with their charges and b) my boyfriend would be jealous."
"Who is the lucky guy?" Kelsey asked, surprised that he was even gay. It's always the good-looking ones that are taken or gay.
"Richard, from Bluesky. He's a centaur."
Kelsey giggled. "I bet he loves your stallion half."
Taylor blushed deeply and he shoved her playfully. "Don't go there, woman, or I might have to hurt you."
"You wouldn't dare."
"I know I won't, since you just had your physical today, but someday I might." ----------- Mitch collapsed on his bed in his room, sighing. His roommate, Quinn, sat down on his own bed, looking over at his friend.
"Why did you ask about that girl and what clan she was in?" He wiggled his eyebrow. "Is Mitch thinking lovestruck thoughts?"
Mitch threw a pillow. "Shut up." He then sighed again. "I don't know what it is about her, Quinn, but she... intrigues me. It's like I'm bonded with her or something."
Quinn gasped. "Like... a mate bond?"
He shrugged. "Maybe. But who could love a Blacktooth, especially with the bad rep we get?" He stroked one of his leathery wings.
"You never know, she could be totally a-okay with you being a demon and she a shapeshifter. Besides, from what I hear, she never even knew about this school."
Mitch jerked. "What?"
"Yeah. She looks a lot like her father, who is a new cop. His family is from Iowa."
Mitch thought about what Quinn said and he eventually agreed with his friend. Since she didn't know of the rep, maybe he could get to know her first and her know him and maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
He hoped so, because he knew that if she rejected him, he would be devestated. ------------ Taylor led Kelsey outside the Silverback building and showed her around the whole campus. There even was a main recreation hall where other students could interact with each other.
"Other clans are not allowed in the other dorms," Taylor said as the two sat down watched a Rainbow student play a Greenplant student in air hockey. "It's one of the rules."
"That sounds reasonable, just like how the guys are kept apart from the girls," Kelsey replied.
Taylor was about to open his mouth when a gang of guys walked up to them. It looked like a mixture of Redwings and Blacktooth.
"Hey, baby," one of the Redwings said to Kelsey, showing off his fangs. "Are you new?"
"Stay away from her, Greg," Taylor snarled.
"Why should I, Stallion? Or else you are gonna trample all over me?"
The gang laughed. Another Redwing student reached out and touched one of Kelsey's breasts. She let out a shriek, sending them into howls of laughter.
"Don't touch her again!"
The gang looked around and Kelsey gasped at the sight of the guy. He looked like a cross between a horse and a really gorgeous male. His lower half was a horse, a chestnut from the looks of things, and his upper half was all gorgeous male. He was even built better than Taylor and that was saying something. He had longish chestnut brown hair that made him even yummier.
"Oh, look, boys. It's Stallion's whore," one of the Blacktooth students jeered.
Figures, Kelsey thought.
Richard crossed his arms and towered over the gang. "I mean it, boys. Leave that lady alone and go scurry someplace else."
The gang muttered but they left.
"Thanks, Rich," Taylor said, smiling up at his boyfriend.
Richard winked. "No prob. So, how's your lady friend?"
"This is Kelsey, a new Silverback. Kelsey, this is Richard, from Bluesky and my mate."
Kelsey smiled and offered her hand. She was amazed at how large his hand was.
"Nice to finally meet the man who has caught Taylor's eye. I must say, he has good taste."
"Of course he does." The centaur looked upon Taylor with love in his eyes.
Kelsey spent the next hour in the rec hall talking to Richard and Taylor and she met more students.
"But how do you tell some of them apart from others when they don't look so... superhumanly?" she asked.
"We have uniforms we wear while school is in session, though on weekends we wear whatever. We also have identification tags we wear and they tell you the clan the student is in," Richard said.
"But you have to be careful who you make friends with," Taylor responded. "Each clan has their good side and bad side."
"The one clan that is majorly bad is Blacktooth. Blacktooth does have their good demons, but most of them are bad. It's best to stay away from them if possible."
"Though, Mitch and his gang are nice guys," Taylor added.
"Mitch?" Kelsey asked.
"Yeah. He's in the Blacktooth clan but he's ultra nice. When we see him, we'll introduce you." -------------- before I get too carried on, I should let you guys update. After Allie's done her sorting, we'll go straight to the dining hall for dinner. For the first night, freshmen have dinner together with the upperclassmen. then the rest of the dinners are in their own clan houses

Cade sighed heavily watching as yet another person went into the room before her.... this was getting ridiculous. She had looked through most of the magazines, Ate had brought her a candy bar from the rec room and had done a happy dance when she left the room, it meant she had gotten into Greenplant. Kelsey had said quietly that she had gotten into Silverback, she assured her it would be fine.
"Cayden Pryce?" the nurse said smiling knowing how long the girl had waited.
"Thank the powers that be." she muttered standing and going into the room.
"Good evening Cade I'm sorry that it took so long." A young woman said from a swivel chair, her purple hair and eyes vaguely familiar to her.
"Meh, I'm used to it" she said sitting on the exam chair.
"Alright lets start with some questions..." ____________
"Okay you are all done." Dr James said with a smile, "You took about ten minutes less then your father."
"You knew my dad?" she asked intregued.
"Yup, I graduated with your father actually, we were really good friends, i introduced him to your mom actually." she said with a smile going to the door, "Now give me just a moment and I'll send your doctor."
"Uh question what house did i get into?" she siad anxious.
"Oh sorry Purplesmoke." she said with a smile leaving the room. Cade smiled larger than before. _________
"Carlisle!" Vince called running after his older brother, he hated being the errand boy but the whole hightened sences made iot easier to find the people close to him. He could hear his brother let out a sigh from where he was.
"What do you want squirt?" he asked shoving his hands into the pockets of his Letterman jacket
"You actually got a guide," Vince smirked, he won the bet.
"Damn," he muttered pulling a 20 out of his wallet and handing it over to Vince.
"Tough break man," Ben said clasping him on the shoulder, "we'll meet you in the dinning hall."
"Yeah cya," Carlisle said with a nod as the rest of them left, "So where's the fresh meat?"
Vince closed his eyes, rolled his neck and took a sharp breath, Carlisle winced when he opened his eyes not seeing the deep crimson surrounding the hazel, "Waiting for you at the fountain."
"You alright?" he asked concerned, ever since his little brother had gone through the change he had looked out for him, he had stopped him at least once from hurting someone.
"Just hungry is all." he said as the two headed towards the quad.
"Have you decided what you're going for, for food choice?" Carlisle asked concerned as the two of them stepped out into the sunny day.
Vince shrugged his shoulder undecided as he placed on his sunglasses.
"You know that I'll support it either way," Carlisle said with a smile placing a hand on his shoulder, "so who is it we're looking for?"
"Uh Cayden Pryce... they only gave me a name, not description or anything of the like." he said the two pausing noticing a number of students not exactly sure which one was Cayden.
Vince scanned the people around the fountain, a number of them smelled familiar there were only 3 that were new. What made his face light up more was when he saw that one of them was the girl from before, he hoped to all hell that she was Carlisle's new guide... it'd make it that much easier to meet her. ____________
Cade looked around bored, she was supposed to wait for her guide to come and show her around... not that she needed it, she had been here for enough graduations to know everything by heart but her guide had her key to the dorm and some of the other stuff she needed.
She spotted two people heading towards her, she hoped to GOD that at least one of them was her guide.
"Cayden Pryce?" the older one asked her.
"that'd be me." she said with a smile
~*~ ok so that's what i got for now, if someone wants to do the meeting between cade and vince go a head, i've got class and work tomorrow.... or i can do it when i get here

Well, I'd love to do your little introduction, Allie-honey but I don't have any ideas for it. ~*~ Ate could not contain her glee as she went skipping down the sidewalk with a lollipop in her mouth. She knew her way to the Greenplants dorm. She could barely slow herself down as she pushed open the large doors to walk into the entry hall.
It was ten time better then how Set had described it. There were high ceilings that went up to a glass roof. The walls were all in shades of greens and all the floors were polished wood. While the stairs had a patten of ivy painted around the cherry wood banister. It felt like she was home.
"Found your way to the dorm all on your own," Ate stopped and turned to see Loki walking up from behind her fixing his hair slightly. "Sorry I was late picking you up."
"S'okay." Ate shrugged sucking on her lollipop happily. "where were you?"
"Had to give my regards to certain individuals." Loki smirked playfully. "A sort of 'welcome back' gift, if you will."
"...So Pan saying your a man-whore is correct?" Ate asked innocently.
"Lies and Slander, Baby sister." Loki rolled his eyes.
"And Mom thinks I'm the bad one." Pan replied dryly from the stairway, her spiderweb wings flapping irritatedly. "Lying to Baby on her first day, tsk."
"Stay out of this, Mega bitch." Loki said glaring at his sister who put her hands up defensively.
"Just pointing out what a fantastic Guide choice you are." Pan said looking down at her nails. "Everyone knows your reputation."
"Maybe if you got laid, Pan, you wouldn't be such a fucking pain in the ass, yeah?" Loki said flipping her off and then smiling at Ate. "Excuses my language, little sis."
"S'okay." Ate said looking around at the high ceiling. "Anyone else being sorted here?"
"Not from what I saw!" Ate barely had time to brace her self as Set hugged her around the shoulders tightly. "My baby sissy got into Greenplant! I'm sooo proud!"
"Let her breath, for god's sake Set." Pan rolled her eyes jumping off the steps stretching her wings slightly. Set stuck her tongue out and snuggled Ate happily.
"You're just jealous because I'm Ate's favorite." Set teased happily letting go of Ate and ruffling her hair.
"Bitches, please." Loki said reaching over and fixing Ate's hair with just a few touches to her head. "If anyone is Baby sister's favorite, it's me."
"You're not going to continue that nickname, are you?" Ate asked flushing slightly. She looked around making sure no one else heard that and saw a boy with dyed green hair smile at her. "I'm fourteen."
"Hey, not my business." The boy said smiling slightly as Set hugged him tightly.
"Leon, this is Ate, Ate this is my buddy Leon." Set announced happily snuggling him. "He's wingless but we forgive him for that."
"Screw you." Leon said pushing her playfully. "Just because I wasn't a born fairy-"
"Kill me now." Pan muttered darkly turning around and marching back up the stairs. Ate winced as the door slammed shut with a bang and looked over at Leon who frowned slightly.
"She hates me, huh?" Leon rubbed the back of his head.
"More like utter loathes." Set suggested. "But she hates everyone."
"Doubt anyone else is showing up." Loki said putting his hands on Ate's shoulders. "Purplesmoke and Redwing will get over crowded again this year."
"Do I get the tour all to myself?" Ate asked excitedly.
Loki grinned as he steered Ate up the stairs. Ate smiled happily as he lead her up the stairs. Their were a couple of paintings of elves, fairies, and goddesses on the walls as he took her down a curved hallway. Ate tried to see as much as possible as Loki lead her around the dorm pointing out the dinning rooms, the waiting area, the library, the entertainment room and finally up to her own room.
"I'm sure I don't have to go over the rules with you, do I?" Loki asked handing her key.
"No going into another Clan's dorm, no letting another clan into our dorms." Ate repeated rolling her eyes at him taking the key and twisting it and pounding it into the door before pushing it open. "Whoa..."
"Nice, right?" Loki smirked at Ate's surprised look. The walls were a pale green with vines painted along the walls. It looked like a room at a bed and breakfast with its sunny little windows and cute furniture.
"It's fantastic." Ate said tracing on of the vine patterns smiling happily.
"Need help unpacking?" Loki offered looking rather uninterested at the room.
"You just want to gossip." Ate accused smiling as Loki brook into a large grin.
"You know me too well, little sister." Loki grinned crossing his arms as his wings moved slowly.
"Are we going to the Rec room? Please!" Set asked jumping onto the floor next to Loki causing him to turn his back to Ate.
"No one's stopping you, Sunshine." Loki said calmly patting her on the head. "Take Leon and that baby duck of a Purplesmoke who fallows you around."
"He's names Nate, thank you very much." Set stuck out her tongue.
"Whatever." Loki shrugged his shoulders. "Go have fun."
"Come on, Loki!" Set pleaded. "Going to the Rec room will be good for you."
"There is nothing of interest in that stupid place, Set." Loki replied not looking at her. Ate noticed Loki's normally fidgety wings had held entirely still since Set had mentioned the Rec room. Ate knew something happened last year that had hurt Loki so bad that mom had threated to drive down to the school and throttle the entire teaching staff. Loki had never said what happened and Ate had never asked.
"Well, I can't take Little sissy there by myself." Set pouted slightly hanging on the door. "Please, please, please!"
"Fine." Loki's wings started moving again as he brushed his hair out of his face. Set let out a squeal of joy and went running from the room. "Ate, I want you to stay close to me in there, understand? No matter what someone says never go there without someone you trust, alright?"
"Sure." Ate nodded slowly hugging onto her brother's arm. "Rec room always sounded dumb to me anyway."
"Be you're first chance to met Matt anyway." Loki said smiling wider as he lead her out of the room.
"Can I pet his ears?" Ate teased earning herself a soft hit on the back of the head.
"Don't make me lock you in the laundry room." Loki threatened.

lol... nice, Patty dear. --------------- Kelsey ended up staying the entire afternoon at rec hall with Taylor and Richard. She would, at times, grab her arm where she got her shot. It stung, just as Dr. Larson said it would. But the strangest thing happened a few minutes later. When she felt someone touch her shoulder, she let out a low wolf-like snarl and she whirled around faster than she ever had in her life. Squirrel looked stunned but it vanished quickly.
"I'm sorry, Kelsey!" she replied. "I should not have done that." Then she looked over at Taylor. "I think she might turn into a wolf next year."
Kelsey cocked her head. "How do you know?"
"We don't," Taylor said, choosing his words carefully. "It's just a feeling, really. See, when Silverbacks are freshmen, they tend to acquire certain... traits or abilities of the animal or person or thing or whatever they turn into first as a sophomore year. Though, there have been mentions of freshmen who turn early."
"But has it happened before? At this school?"
"No one knows," Richard responded, tucking his legs in so he could lay on the floor. "But it has been heard of. Maybe you might turn early, since you are already showing signs when most students don't. Usually the ones that do already have parents who had gone here before."
Kelsey looked confused. "But, both my parents are not from around here. My father grew up in Iowa and my mother..." She frowned. "You know, she never told me or Dad about her past life."
"It could be possible that she has come here but didn't want to tell you both in case you freaked out," Squirrel said. "You should ask."
"But what if she doesn't want to tell me?" She put her face in her hands and she let out a low growl of frustration, though it sounded animal-like.
When she looked up again, she watched as a group of delicious-looking guys walked in. They all wore the same thing: black pants, black shirts, black shoes, and wore black bandanas around their heads. What shocked her the most was their eyes, which were a bright red.
"Who are they?" she asked, staring at what looked like the leader. His hair seemed to blend in with the bandana except for the reddish highlights. His skin was a beautiful tan color, as if he spent a lot of time in the sun.
Taylor hid a smile. "That, my dear, is Mitch and his gang, the guys I told you about earlier. They're the nicer of the Blacktooth clan."
"But don't think about asking them out," Squirrel added, slinging an arm around Kelsey's shoulders. "Whoever has asked has been turned down."
"Oh." But Kelsey couldn't help but stare at the leader. It was like she needed to be near him, to curl into his arms and purr like a content kitten. ------------ Mitch felt as though he was being stared at and at first he brushed it off. He knew he was extremely good-looking and therefore didn't pay much attention. It was only when he felt something go through him that he turned to look. He hid a smile when he caught sight of the same brown, blonde-highlighted hair and this time he noticed her eyes were a light shade of gray, almost silver in appearance. It was especially hard to hide a smile when he noted who sat next to her. Taylor was well-known around the school and was a good kid.
"Yo, Mitch!"
Mitch ignored his friends and continued to stare at the girl, who was also staring back at him. He nearly shivered at the intensity of the gaze and he felt his feet move toward her before he could stop himself.
Taylor was the first to say something. "Hey, Mitch. How was your summer?"
Mitch shrugged, his gaze still on the girl. "It was fine. Did you have fun hanging out with Rich over break?"
The Silverback male blushed, causing Richard, Squirrel, and the new girl to laugh. Mitch's breath hitched when he heard her laugh. Down, Blacktooth, he thought to himself. He pulled himself a chair and he twirled it around so he could sit.
"So, who's the new girl?" he asked after the laughter calmed down. He barely noticed his gang flocking around him.
The girl smiled. "I'm Kelsey H..."
Taylor put a hand out to stop her. "This is Kelsey Silverback. She got sorted into my clan."
"Finally you guys get some new blood, eh?" Henry replied. "Haven't been new Silverbacks since you entered."
Mitch gritted his teeth. How dare he say such a thing?
But Taylor didn't take it personally. "Yeah, since the Redwings and Purplesmokes have been taking up a good majority of the freshmen." He turned to Kelsey. "Anyway, Kelsey, these are who I was telling you about. That's Mitch, Henry, Alan, Quinn, Gordan, and Zackary. They're all in the Blacktooth clan."
"Nice to meet you," Kelsey said, her gray eyes roaming over the entire group.
Quinn opened his mouth to say something but Alan stepped on his foot. Mitch glanced between the two curiously before turning back to gazing at Kelsey. What he didn't catch was the smiles on Squirrel, Taylor, and Richard's faces. -------------- Kelsey jumped when she heard a bell rang. It was very loud and seemed to bounce off the walls.
"Ah, dinner," Taylor said. He turned to Kelsey. "The first dinner after break is in the dining hall. It's tradition and the other dinners are served in the dorms." He held out a hand to her. "I'll escort you."
As Kelsey took his hand, Taylor had to hide a snicker as he caught Mitch's jealous gaze. At first, when he noticed how the Blacktooth was gazing at his charge, he was thoroughly shocked. Mitch had never shown any kind of interest though a good majority of the women (and some men too) drooled over him and now he seemed almost lovestruck as he gazed at the young Silverback.
They must be mates, then, Richard's voice said through their mating bond.
Must be, in order for Mitch to look so... Taylor struggled to find the word.
Whipped?
The Silverback tried not to giggle. -------------

Sorry it took so long. ~*~
"I'm Carlise. you're guide." The statement felt powerful. Being a guide for your house was power, respect, status. Not that Carlise was power hungry, it just felt good. Although Loki was the guide for Greenplant...made the entire thing feel less wonderful.
"who are you?" Cade asked turning to Vince who smiled slightly.
"Vince. Just helping out my brother."
"Nice to meet you both."
"Don't guess you've seen any of the rest of the sorted have you?" Carlise asked looking around the girl in front of him.
"Would there be more sorted?" Cade asked raising an eyebrow.
Vince chuckled slightly. "We're always over crowded."
"We get all types in. Not just magic types. We get psychic talents, like telekinesis and telepathy too." Carlise said smiling at her. "You have any family come to this school?"
"My Dad." Cade said standing up straighter. Vince seemed to tilt his head slightly as if seeing through her. Carlise thought about the name a while before the last name clicked.
"Ah, right. Head of him. Redwing, wasn't he?"
"Yes he is." Cade seemed to go to defensive rather quickly as she glared at him angrily.
"He doesn't mean anything by it." Vince said removing his shades slightly showing her his eyes. "Runs in the family."
"Oh." Cade smiled warmly at Vince and Carlise rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry if I was..."
"It's alright. We all are protective of our families." Vince Nodded his head.
"Carlisle," He sighed inwardly as he turned to see Nate walking towards him with a group of other freshmen kids fallowing him.
"My good." Carlisle frowned.
"Found some of your charges wondering about aimlessly." Nate shrugged his shoulders.
"And how did you happen about them?" Carlisle asked smiling overly politely. "Fallowing that Greenplant again?"
"I was just helping you out." Nate said evenly but Carlisle saw him flex his fingers slightly. "Hate for you to get your guide status pulled."
"Are you a Purplesmoke too?" Cade asked abruptly looking over at the overly pale boy who looked at her and shrugged his shoulders.
"Would appear so." Nate said turning to the group of kids behind him. "This is your guide."
"Thank you ever so much." A boy said smiling at Nate who shrugged his shoulders walking over to the Purplesmoke dorms. Honestly how someone with so few emotions got into his clan Carlise would never know.
"Shouldn't have mentioned Set like that." Vince muttered to Carlise softly.
"Who wants to see their rooms, hm?" Carlise asked loudly ignoring his younger brother.
