Shattered a Kingdom Hearts fanfic written by Mistress Wisewings
This isn't an actual chapter yet. I'm just writing down some info for the original characters for now, so I won't forget them. So, without further ado, here are three new Organization 13 members.
Number 15: Lixga. Originally known as Gail. She is 5'4 with shoulder-length black hair and piercing silver eyes. Lixga commands the Earth and carries a battle fan as her weapon. Her temper is nothing to trifle with.
Number 16: Arcyxs. Originally known as Carys. She is 5'6 with short white blonde hair and dark green eyes. She commands the mind and carries no visible weapon, which is her hynotic voice. She may be quiet but she is anything but. Arcyxs is a healer.
Number 17: Saxili. Originally known as Ilisa. She is 5'3 with waist-length bright red hair and blue-gray eyes. She commands machinery and her choice of weapon is a tablet with a stylus. Saxili loves adventure and tends to be agressive and mean at first. Don't mess with her and she may be nice to you. She loves to fiddle with any kind of technology.
I am counting Xion in here, since this storyline is somewhere between Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts 2. It took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to have the characters' names done. I followed how Disney and Square Enix did the Organization's names. I really like Arcyxs' name, though. ^^
Stay tuned for the first chapter, guys!

WARNING!: If you do not like guy-guy and girl-girl sexual interaction, please leave. Here are the couples I have planned:
Axel/Roxas, Demyx/Zexion, Marluxia/Larxene, Lixga/Arcyxs, Saxili/Xigbar.
Also, please be noted that Lixga, Arcyxs, and Saxili have already joined the Organization, after Xion. It's been two months since the three girls joined and the events at Castle Oblivion have started. Thanks and enjoy!
Chapter One
"Sup, Axel?"
Axel opened his eyes and nearly recoiled away from Demyx, who stood very close to him. The blonde bounced on his feet while staring at the redhead.
The pyro sighed. "Nothing. Just resting my eyes. Haven't had a wink of sleep."
"Because of what is going on in Castle Oblivion?" Demyx asked, his smile dropping.
"It's taking more out of me than I had thought," the redhead replied, scratching the back of his head. "I never thought Sora was all that tough."
"But Roxas is tough and he came from him. You should have known that, Axel."
"Maybe. How is he, by the way?"
Demyx cast a wary glance at his friend. He knew how much Axel cared for the short blonde and he didn't want to stress the man out all over nothing. "Still out like a light. I sent Saxili to watch over him for the day while Xion is out."
"There is something wrong with Xion," Axel growled, clenching his fists underneath his gloves. "Not that I don't like her, but there is something about her that rubs me in the wrong way."
"Because Roxas likes her?" the water element teased.
Axel swiped at Demyx's head and the blonde ducked, but he overbalanced and he fell on his butt. A snort alerted the two Nobodies that they were no longer alone. They turned to face Lixga and Arcyxs, the two girls holding each other's hands.
"I thought water was supposed to be elegant and balanced," Lixga commented, smirking. "Am I right, love?" She turned to her lover.
"Yes," Arcyxs' silky voice spoke. Both Axel and Demyx automatically shook their heads, trying not to fall prey to her voice. "Sorry," she replied and she lost the silkiness, making her voice sound normal. "I always forget that no one but Lixga can be immune to my power."
"It's all good," Demyx said casually.
"And what was this about Roxas liking Xion?" Lixga said, dropping her girlfriend's hand and plopping down on the ground. Arcyxs leaned against a pillar, her leg resting against the shorter girl.
"I think they mean that Axel is jealous of Xion," Arcyxs said softly.
"Stop reading my mind, Arc," Axel ground out, throwing up his mental barrier on his mind.
She smirked. "But I didn't, dear Axel. I swear everyone in the Organization but Roxas himself knows about your little attraction. Besides, I wouldn't want to read your mind when you think of him anyway."
The three laughed as Axel flushed. ----------------- Saxili perched herself on the chair Xion had preoccupied, staring down at the blonde. He looked peaceful, when she knew he was anything but. It was a day like today that she wished she had Arcyxs' powers so she could see into his mind and help him. However, Xemnas had forbidden anyone to help Roxas, which annoyed most of Roxas' friends.
She heard Roxas' door open but she knew who it was, so she didn't look up.
"How's the shrimp?" Xigbar asked, closing the door softly.
"Not ready to wake up yet. And it's been a week."
"Give it time," he said, walking around the bed to wrap his arms around her. "He'll wake up."
"But when? When the whole conflict that is happening in Castle Oblivion stops? It's a good thing none of us still have our Others running around." She snuggled deeper in his embrace.
The older man chuckled. "Yes. That is true."
Both members continued their watch over the young boy, waiting for signs of stirring.
--------------- "Everyone seems to be distracted because of this."
There was a deep chuckle. "That was the plan, my dear. Now we just have to wait for them to walk into our trap."
"Yes. Then our plan will begin." ----------------------- end of chapter
Uh oh. What kind of plans will threaten to tear the Organization apart?? If you have played Chain of Memories, you already know half of the answer. Stay tuned for more!

Chapter Two
Arcyxs glanced up from her book when she heard the door open. She had shut off her power so she could concentrate on her reading. Otherwise, she would be constantly bombarded with the thoughts of the other Organization members. She would rather not be privy to what her fellow members were thinking.
To be quite honest, she hated her power. What she wouldn't give to have something else than the ability to control the mind, bend it to her will. It was a violation of everything she had known.
"It's not a surprise to see you here," Zexion murmured, closing the door behind him.
"It is a surprise to see you here. I thought you were supposed to be in Castle Oblivion." She turned her green eyes back to her book.
"Would you mind having a chat with me, dear sister?"
No one besides the two in the room knew of their true relationship. Even before they became Nobodies, the two were siblings, with Zexion being the oldest. Since their bodies changed a bit when they were born as Nobodies, the two didn't look a lot alike as they used to.
Arcyxs closed her book with a snap and she put it down on the table next to her. She glanced up at her older brother and raised an eyebrow.
Zexion took a seat across from her, never breaking eye contact. "Tell me your honest opinion about Roxas."
She shrugged. "Keeps mostly to himself but has quite the temper. He does not like being kept out of the loop of things, especially if it deals with him. Why do you ask?"
"I think, besides a physical change from our previous selves, we also take half of our personalities. Sora isn't nearly as angry as he used to be before Roxas was born."
Arcyxs pressed her fingertips together, her forehead wrinkling in thought. "That could be true. We are a half of what we were back then. It's like we split our souls and the other half is missing. Roxas is the only one of us who still has their Other alive. It is quite the mystery."
"Has he shown signs of waking yet?"
"No. I think, once the situation on Castle Oblivion is over, he will wake." Her green eyes bore into her brother's eyes. "How are things, if I can ask?"
Zexion leaned back into his chair. "I suppose I can tell you. It's not like the Superior would mind, since you would get the information out of me anyway. I picked up a new scent in the lowest basement yesterday."
She raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Did you find out who it is?"
He nodded. "Riku, Sora's best friend. But he's draped in shadows."
She rolled her eyes. "He was under Ansem's wing. He became an agent of evil, though towards the end he changed. He began to fight the darkness and that was because of King Mickey's doing."
"Riku is now tearing through the basement just as Sora is doing the same."
Her green eyes showed her concern. "So what will you do?"
"Keep Riky occupied. Marluxia is already taking care of Sora, with the help of Larxene, Vexen, and Axel. Lexaeus is helping me. Vexen showed up for a bit, only to gain information about Riku."
Arcyxs snorted. "That man. He loves his science experiments. He nearly ran me over yesterday in his hurry toward his labs."
"I think he's one of the few of us who retained the likeness he had when he was whole. Wasn't Even a scientist too?"
"I believe he was. He certainly looks the type." She let out a yawn.
Zexion leaned forward. "Are you still unable to go to sleep, little sister? I thought you could switch off your power at night."
"I can, but I still cannot fall asleep. I have tried everything but nothing works. That's why I end up in here at night. Besides, the Superior lets me use this room when I cannot sleep. Besides, he gave me a project to do while I am in here."
"Care to elaborate? Since I bared my secrets to you?"
She smiled. "This book I was reading previously was about Kingdom Hearts, the myths about it. The Superior wants to know as much as he can about it, despite having been Diz's Other's apprentice. I have also been looking into what Nobodies really are. We seem to have emotions, unlike what everyone seems to believe. We exist without a heart, which is supposed to be impossible, so what keeps us alive?"
He reached over to grasp her hands, causing her to look up. "I am sure you will find your answers. Between the two of us, I believe we can help the Organization access Kingdom Hearts, with the help of Roxas."
"Yes." She squeezed his hands. "When Roxas wakes up, I want to let him in on what we are doing. He will be a great asset, even if he does not remember being a part of Sora."
"Could you access his mind and see if you can find anything?"
Arcyxs snorted. "I have tried, Zex, but his mind is a blank. It is like he was never a part of the Keyblade wielder."
Zexion let go of her hands and stood up. "That is interesting." He glanced over at the door. "I have a feeling that I am needed back at the Castle. You take care, Carys."
She smiled genuinely. "You too, Ienzo. We should go have ice cream as soon as you are done with your mission."
He let a smile fan across his lips. "We should." He left the room, slipping back into his poker face. He wanted to think on what he would do with Riku before he returned. ------------- (I got Zexion's real name from Wikipedia. It's very interesting, what his story really is.) ------------ "I think the Organization is falling apart."
Lixga raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Saix nodded. "It is true. As Zexion has said before, we used to be close once upon a time. Now, with what is going on in Castle Oblivion, the bond is loosening."
"Do you think it has anything to do with Marluxia?" Xaldin offered. "He has been strangely absent from here. I know Zexion often returns as well as Vexen and Lexaeus."
"I think Marluxia is banging Larxene, to be truthful," Lixga said, giggling. "Though, I seriously doubt that he is straight, what with his hair color and love of roses."
Xigbar chuckled. Saxili smacked his arm, making him cry out. "We are talking bad about another member. That ain't going to strengthen our bond."
"It is true," Arcyxs replied, closing the door behind her. She kissed her girlfriend on the lips and took a seat. "But I agree with the fact that it is mostly Marluxia and Larxene that are causing the strain. They are trying to plant seeds of doubt that will cause us to destroy each other and we will be no more."
"That is a serious accusation, Arcyxs," Saix said. "Are you certain of this? The two have not been around for you to read their minds."
"Just because they are not here does not mean I do not know what they are doing. I may not like my power, but it is useful, in this case. If you do not believe me, that is fine. I am merely giving my output here."
"I believe her," Xigbar blurted. "She is very good at reading people, even if she really can." He winked.
Arcyxs smiled with her lips. "Thanks, Braig. We all know of where your loyalties lie."
The door opened again to reveal Axel. His acidic green eyes swept the room as he closed the door behind him. "So, what did I miss?"
Arcyxs eyed him warily. "To where do your loyalties lie, Lea?"
The redhead blinked for a second. "With the Organization."
And to Roxas, she heard him utter in his mind.
"Take a seat," she said. "We are trying to figure out a way to take out Marluxia and Larxene without having to resort to eliminating their existance." --------------- whew. I had a lot to write about. Plot progression, anyway. Stay tuned everyone!

Saxili was seated in the Gray Room, fiddling around with her iPod, when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She looked up, raising an eyebrow at Vexen. "Yes?"
"I need your help, Sax." Vexen's long face showed his distaste in asking for help.
"Your little puppet not turning out as you would have liked, Even?" she asked, standing up but not turning off her iPod.
Vexen pushed her up against a wall, snarling. "Don't ever call me by that name again, do you hear?" When she nodded, he let her go. "But yes, the replica is not following orders any more. Or, at least, he isn't following my orders any more. It seems Marluxia and Larxene have taken interest in him."
Saxili followed the blonde scientist into his labs and her eyes immediately fell on the puppet on the floor. He was hooked up to several machines and his eyes were still open, revealing the aqua depths. She hummed and headed over to the computer.
"I only asked you because you have a talent with computers," Vexen continued, leaning back against a counter, watching over her shoulder as she worked. "What are you doing?"
"First, I am going to erase his entire programming. Give us a clean slate to work with, as it were." She saw his look and rolled his eyes. "He will still be Riku, idiot. I am just making him a little more obedient to you rather than any other members, unless you give him the go ahead."
"Seems feasible," the blonde said.
--------------------
Sora flew through the doors and shoved them shut behind him. He panted and nearly sagged onto the marble floor. The brunette didn't understand what was going on. He could barely understand how to use the cards the people in black were giving him, much less how to battle with them. How the hell was he going to get to Namine and Riku if he couldn't use them properly?
(I purposefully used Namine in there, since in Chain of Memories he ends up forgetting about Kairi and her place is taken by Namine) --------------------- "Who the hell are you?" Riku demanded, taking on a fighting stance.
Zexion kept his poker face in tact. "None of that matters now. I must say, you have quite the strength to knock Lexaeus out. That is not an easy thing to do."
"Enough of this talking business! All you guys have done is nothing but talk." Riku summoned his Keyblade. "The only talking I want done is why I am here and what you are doing. I feel..."
"Like your memories are fuzzy?" the slate-haired boy finished. He gestured around the white room. "It's this castle. There is a reason why it's called Castle Oblivion, Riku."
"How come you know my name and I don't know yours?"
"Names are not important," Zexion said airily. "As for why you are here, I have no clue. I was not the one who brought you here."
Riku's hands clenched into fists. "Ansem."
The older boy blinked. That made no sense whatsoever. Ansem would never do something like that unless he had a reason. Zexion himself would know that, since he was adopted by the man. Ansem the Wise was too kind but was hard on everyone around him. He was a contradiction to himself.
"What does Ansem have to do with any of this?" Zexion asked.
"He owned me before. He wants me to return to serving him in the darkness."
Ansem never dabbled in darkness. Only....
Zexion wondered why he never figured it out before. He would have to talk to his sister to find out more. She knew everything about everyone she came in contact with. How could she not, with the talent she possessed?
"Interesting." He fished in his pockets and threw a card at the silverette. "In the mean time, take that card and journey into another world you have been to before." He portaled himself out of the room before Riku could open his mouth.
------------------ Arcyxs frowned as she stared down at Roxas' unconscious body. How peculiar. Physically he was fine, but mentally was another story. It seemed that he was tied to whatever Sora was doing in Castle Oblivion. It was like they shared a connection, which she already knew about. Who in the Organization didn't know that Roxas was Sora's Nobody?
"Still no sign of him waking?"
She kept her green eyes on Roxas, but she acknowledged Axel's appearance. His mind was a mess but he had one clear thought: his worry over his friend. She kept her smirk hidden. It was clear to see that Axel had fallen for his little blonde friend.
Everyone thought that since Nobodies had no hearts that they couldn't feel emotions. That was not true. They could feel emotion just like any normal human being, but they would rather not reveal that information to anyone outside themselves.
"He will soon," she replied, leaning back in her chair. She glanced up and inhaled a sharp breath. "What happened to you?"
Axel looked like someone mugged him, with a black eye and several bruises on his face.
"Sora is a very touchy person," he grumbled, obeying Arcyxs' hand's command for him to sit down in a chair.
"Let me look," she murmured, tilting his face so she could better see his bruises. "I'm afraid I ran out of bruise cream but these aren't that dark, so they will heal relatively quickly." She perched herself back in her chair. "May I inquire as to how you pissed off the Keyblade wielder to the point where he punched you?"
Axel glanced away. She let out a growl but let him clam up. It's not like she didn't know what had happened anyway. Arcyxs was hoping that he would tell her rather than having her resort to using her talents.
The two of them were pulled from their thoughts when they heard a groan coming from the bed. ----------------

Chapter Four
Roxas opened his eyes and stared up into acidic green eyes. Axel smiled down on him. "Hey Rox."
The young blonde tried to open his mouth but he couldn't find it in himself to do so. Arcyxs clicked her tongue.
"Rest for a bit before you try to talk, Roxas. You've been out for awhile and your body stiffened up because your catanonic state." She got up and peered down at the boy. "Rest, Roxas." Her voice was heavenly, Roxas thought as he found himself relaxing.
Axel growled. "He can take care of himself, Arcyxs."
The older blonde raised an eyebrow. "Fine, then. Don't come running to me when Roxas is having problems then." She turned on her heels and left, her boots clicking against the smooth floor.
Roxas blinked. He had never seen Axel angry before. And he got angry on his behalf. It was.... strange. "How long have I been out?" he asked, once he got his mouth opened.
"A few days," the redhead replied, taking his eyes from the door. "You had all of us worried for you."
"Weren't you at Castle Oblivion, Axel?" Roxas asked, pushing himself up into an upright position. "Why are you back here?"
"Mission was a failure. Marluxia and Larxene were discovered to be the traitors and fled after Sora beat Marluxia up. Xemnas pulled the rest of us out."
Roxas blinked again. "I...I think I saw it. Sora going up against Marluxia." He shook his head. "It could have been a dream too."
Axel screwed his face up in fake shock as he tried to hide the fact that he knew Roxas would know how Sora beat Marluxia. "You think you saw Sora battling Marly?"
"It could have been a dream," Roxas repeated. "I don't even know who Sora really is. I've heard his name but that's it."
Before Axel could open his mouth, Roxas' door opened and Zexion stepped in. His blue eyes scanned Roxas. "You are awake. Good. When you feel up to it, Roxas, Arcyxs and I would like to talk to you in the library." He nodded to the redheaded Nobody and he shut the door behind him.
"What do you think that's about?" the blonde asked.
"No clue, Rox." ----------------- "Slow down, Marluxia."
Marluxia came to a halt and let Larxene jog up to him, panting. She planted her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath.
"We've got a long ways to go still, Larxene," Marluxia spoke slowly. His blue eyes were locked ahead of him. "Once we reach town, we will rest. For all we know, Xemnas could be on our tail."
"You walk too fast," Larxene argued.
The pink-haired man raised an eyebrow. "Would you rather I carry you on my shoulders?"
She scoffed. "Hell no."
"Then walk faster to catch up to me." He walked ahead.
"Bastard," she cursed. She started to jog towards him. ------------------- "So, you are saying that I am a part of Sora?" Roxas asked, his eyes wide.
Arcyxs nodded. "You wield the Keyblade like he does. Not many are chosen to carry such a burden, not anymore."
"There used to be many Keyblade wielders," Zexion added. "And among then were the Keyblade masters. I met a wielder that was attempting to get his mastery. His name was Ventus and he looked very similiar to you, Roxas. He saved my life from the cursed Unversed. But the Keyblade wielders were slaughtered and the Masters vanished. Nowadays, no one has the strength to wield such a blade."
"But I do, and so does Sora," Roxas whispered. "Then, what about Xion?"
The siblings looked at each other. The blonde was sure they were trying to decide whether or not to tell him.
"That's for her to tell," Arcyxs replied. "The reason why we told you this, Roxas, is so that you are aware of how important you really are. The Organization is falling apart and loyalties are being put to the test. As much as Zexion and I want to get our hearts, we feel that it is best for you to get out while you can."
Roxas gaped at the two. "How can I leave the Organization? It's all I have known."
"But you long to be a part of something more," she continued. "You were meant to be a part of Sora, not here. The only reason you came to be is because Sora willingly gave up his heart to awaken his friend. Somehow, he came back from being a Heartless. No one knows how or why."
"I do want to meet him, yes," Roxas said, "but I have you guys and Axel and the others. What if I don't want to leave?"
"Then don't," Zexion said. "But think about it, Roxas."
The siblings left, leaving Roxas to his thoughts.
