Summary: Harry's father never was James Potter, but James was his step-father. On Harry's fifteenth birthday, he notices that his appearance is changing. Who is Harry's father? Is he still alive somewhere?
Prologue
For those who waited in the waiting room, it seemed like hours before Lily Potter started her screaming and ranting. They instantly felt sorry for young James Potter, who had to endure her screams the entire time she was in labor.
"I don't envy him at all," replied Sirius Black, James' best friend and fellow Marauder.
"I don't think any of us do, Padfoot," said Remus Lupin, another of James' friends and Marauder.
Soon enough, the screams stopped and everyone could hear the sounds of a baby crying loudly. Everyone relaxed, never noticing that they had tensed up at all. The doors to the labor room opened and revealed a tired but happy looking James Potter.
"It's a boy," he said, leaning against the wall.
"Prongsie is a daddy!" Sirius whooped, scooping him up into a hug. "Is Paddy the godfather?" he asked, using the puppy-dog eyes on the other man.
James laughed tiredly. "Sure."
The others shared amused looks as Sirius danced around the room, crying out that he was the godfather of the kid.

Later on that evening, Sirius snuck into the recovery room where Lily was lying on the bed, seemingly asleep. James smiled at his friend.
"I feel sorry that we have to live a lie to our friends," he said to Sirius. "You should be in my place, sitting next to your wife and holding your son." He gestured to the sleeping child in his arms.
"In secret, I am doing your job," Sirius whispered. "Remember, I was the one who took the Polyjuice Potion to become you. And you also took the potion to look like me." He stroked Lily's hair.
"So, I am the godfather to Harry, right?" James asked hopefully.
"Of course you are."
"Have you decided on a name for your son, Padfoot?"
Sirius, startled, looked to James. He then smiled. "I have, yes."
"And?" a soft voice asked.
Sirius smiled down at his wife. "You shouldn't be snooping around like that, Mrs. Black."
"Nor should you be sneaking in here to see me, Mr. Black. Now, what have you decided to name our beautiful son?"
James walked over from where he was sitting and gave Sirius the bundle of blankets he was holding. Sirius stared in awe down at the child. This was his son, not James'
"Adrian Sirius Black," he said proudly. "Besides, Harry Black doesn't sound right."
Lily and James laughed. "No it doesn't," James said candidly. He walked to the door. "I'll leave you two be with your son. Remember, we have to do the charm that we were talking about before anyone starts to question whose son he really is."
Sirius and Lily nodded and James left.
"He is a beautiful baby," Sirius whispered.
Lily smiled and kissed his temple. "That he is." She let out a sigh. "Our little Adrian."
